I worked on this show for five seasons. In a technical role. I saw this a year ago and sent the link to anyone I could think of that I worked beside. We all concur with your assessment. The checks always cleared, though. I was happy the show was done, but would happily take the cheque for that show in this current film climate.

The proof that this could be true is that once it was finally cancelled, it started getting better and better until it was as good as the early seasons again! 😂 The 2nd half of season 9 has been so good!

Honestly the major issue that I have with the flash isn't really the storyline. Besides stories are boring and I could completely go without. But the problem with the flash isn't even the writing. It's the supporting characters! I don't give 2 s** about Allegra or Chuck, or cecil! Bring Cisco & Wells back! I've always considered them both, the heart of the show! They were clearly the comic relief and everything! Something about the relationship between Cisco Ramon and Harrison Wells actually made that show! The girls of team flash just aren't funny, in my opinion. Even though they clearly try to be. I don't think I have laughed one time since Cisco left the show!

Why cant the show writers take a page from comics and do something similar but slightly altering it, and why the series had so many versions of wells, i am a huge fan of tom but that was too much, if he really wants to show off his talent he should get his own show

The problem was with the show writers, i mean who needs 23 small villains per season, They should cut short it, to max 12 episodes per season, and reduce the number of small villains to may 6 or 7 stretched over 12 episodes.

23 episodes means 23 villains, 23 different science solutions from cisco poor guy and that for 7 to 8 seasons after that new guy took over Cisco.

The Boys was having 8 episodes per season had surreal impact, i mean the dialogues the screenplay the pacing, thats how a superhero tv series should be made god. Cw flash Season 1, 2 and 3 were really amazing but then again those were also having the same 23 episode 23 villains 23 science solutions theme which was really pointless and boring

Actually, season 6 was the worst. I guess you guys really suck at making fun of The Flash.

IMO, it never really recovered after COVID truncated that season ,I think it was season 6.

Man dissed season 6. They tried hard on that one, post Crisis wasn't as good and I hated how long the Mirror thing was drawn out, but it was still The Flash and it was still fun. (until they redeemed Eva with a speech)

To me the show got boring constant time travel friends keeping secrets friends betray friends secret identities keep getting revealed every single season at least Superman doesn't reveal his secret Identity every season unlike the flash does and too many speedsters running around
