There were Flying Dinosaurs too. How could they have been eliminated also by Asteroid hit? Actually, they were blessed with free meat on the land for at least a fortnight. That old theory was proposed when there was zero knowledge of Genetics by people, even the educated ones. (DNA structure was discovered only 7 Decades ago).
