Just in case you didn't know. New Zealand is the best source of meat pies in the world. Aussie ones are boring. And pavlova isn't Aussie - at all.
ОтветитьShocked that Hugh has forgotten a sausage is called a snag back home. Must have been a while since he's thrown some snags on the barbie.
ОтветитьNah, there is no comparison between poutine and meat pie. Meat pie wins every day and in every way. I can totally understand how the Pavlova won the battle. The Nanaimo bar would be interesting to try.
ОтветитьYou can tell it’s an Australian pie because it needs sauce. New Zealand pies are better and don’t need it.
ОтветитьCome Hugh, it's snags with the old tomyata
ОтветитьYOU DIDNT MIX THE FKN LEMON LIME BITTERS TOGETHER... SACRILEGE
ОтветитьThe chaos is just great
Ответить"Food Wars" like these just make me realize how much of an impact multicultural food has on the planet, think about how boring the world would be if civilizations never shared their foods with the rest of the world
ОтветитьYour channel is a must-watch for me. Thank you!
ОтветитьCopy new Zealands pies sorry
ОтветитьNew Zealand food pies and palova
ОтветитьLemon Lime & Botters is only very, very, very mildly alcoholic, bitters contains alcohol, but you literally only splash a few shakes of the bottle in to add a mild flavour. It can be served to children it’s that minor.
“At two dashes per drink, that works out to 1.84mL. Simple math says 1.8mL x 45% = . 81mL of alcohol. Once you add in the lemonade, citrus and ice, your Lemon, Lime and Bitters will have less than 0.5% alcohol.” The main brand of bitters used is Angostura, which is 44.7% alcohol content.
They are meant to mix the lemon lime and bitters by stirring it. Ryan, Hugh and the lady was only tasting the lemon flavor. Also, I don't think the Australian barbecue sausage and prawns (shrimp) is representative of Australia. The most common is going to be Australian steaks (wagyu if your feeling fancy) and lamb chops.
ОтветитьSnagger. Not sauso.
ОтветитьIt’s not a snoso it’s a snag.
ОтветитьMeat pies are not a unique Australian dish? Even Canada has meat pies- Quebec has their meat & potato tourtières in particular
ОтветитьPatriotism through food 😝😝
ОтветитьSean is the spitting image of his dad.

ОтветитьIf Pavlova was named by an Aussie, then it is Aussie! Kiwis can stop whining! 😂
ОтветитьGravy on chips is common in australia thats pretty close to poutine
ОтветитьFun
ОтветитьHugh's talking crap! Nobody calls a sausage a 'sosso' - they're called 'snags'!
ОтветитьIt’s a “snag” not a “sosso”
ОтветитьThe Mainers are upset that Americans don't like clam juice in a drink.
ОтветитьThose butter tarts sound pretty good, I need a recipe!!
ОтветитьAs an Aussie I have to say that I have NEVER had a Lamington covered in hundreds & thousands.
I also don’t understand why team Canada didn’t put a Beaver Tail on their list cos I had one while I was in Banff & they are seriously out of this world delicious. Ya blew it team Canada, you had the chance to win & ya blew it. 😂😂😂
This show is so chaotic especially over food

ОтветитьThis is bloody good
ОтветитьWhat the New Zealanders call the "first Pavlova" was actually an all layered jelly desert ( note - multiple dishes were named after Anna Pavlova as she toured ) , the AUSTRALIAN Pavlova was invented in The Esplanade Hotel in Perth 1935 and it is the classic Pavlova standard known around the world today.
ОтветитьIt looks like a kids show. Everyone all hyped up on something.
ОтветитьHATE ...... When everyone talking at the same time !!
