Looking to make a simple gated garage base, but then wanted to transfer to a free stand. I was just wondering where’s a good spot for the free standing one and also how tall can you make the walls?

I guess ai can't put a fence kit down on something that isn't dirt can I? I can't seem to "place" down a fence kit on a stone floor, and I play on console

I'm trying to build my first base right now. Playing solo so going for a fortified shed/garage. It takes a lot of time. And it's really disheartening when you find the tools but get killed on the way to your location. At least now I got things stashed away and a fence kit in place. If I reconnect to the server next time and discover they found my cammo tent in the woods with all my stuff I'm going to be heart broken lmao

Just started playing this game is there a way to set a spawn point and finds my teammates easier?

Thanks. It would have been more helpful if you explained how you got these recipes or the mechanic for revealing them in game. Or provided a link to hard copy of the recipes. Bit meaningless just to see you do it - I'd have to transcribe these recipes from the video. I'm too lazy for that!

I’m on Xbox, new to the game. I don’t see much point in building a base solo, so if anyone has room in a clan, or wants to join up, hmu.

We did this with sheet metal in a garage just the same, only difference is out gate is just on the inside. We're hoping it's discrete enough to be left alone.
