I have to go with Shake Shack. Which is tough because Five Guys is a legit #2 for Me when comparing the 2 (all toppings being the same). Shake Shack also uses a blend of chuck, sirloin AND brisket for their beef blend. Five guys also doesn't season their beef. Which really seems like a missed opportunity to enhance the overall flavor profile of the end result product.

I learned recently that five guys does not season their beef, not even salt! So last time I went, I asked them to put salt on the patties and they told me it was against policy and that I had to put my own salt packets on after!! Crazy 😂

For $13, I can eat a double smash burger (cheese, burger sauce with bacon and caramelized onion) with fries, sauce, coleslaw and refillable drink in my town. Prices in the U.S. are crazy high

I've had Shake Shack once, it was under-cooked and gave me food poisoning, a wonderful 24 ours of my vacation. I'll stick to Five Guys all day thanks. Also, which SS do you have ownership in? The bias is God tier.

I've never been to Shake Shack, but I will bet they are better than the hype job that is Five Guys. Five Guys bacon is always burnt, and they tell me that is the way they make the bacon, which is just a carcinogen stick you are eating.

I’ve had both and I prefer 5 Guys and the 5G burger was juicier and more flavorful than at SS.
