beautiful home, beautiful family
ОтветитьCosts??
ОтветитьCan you send me a copy of those plans?
ОтветитьHard consistent work pays off....
ОтветитьCan you share any of the architectural details I'm curious on the roof design and beam sizing and things like that....
ОтветитьGreetings from oakville Ontario Canada there's a home built from straw and mud and other environmental materials because the owners wife had allergies to normal building materials thanks for the presentation
ОтветитьSolar mass has been disproven? Where can I find more info on this? I have plans to build a tiny straw bale passive solar home with an earthen floor.
ОтветитьMy dream just add solar and perfect
Ответитьamazing what these ppl managed to do, much respect for them and thanks for sharing <3
ОтветитьGotta match?
ОтветитьStraw sounds good but what abt rodents 🤔 in my country mice would invade this kind of a house during the first winter...especially in the countryside...
ОтветитьWait.....early on he mentioned not wanting to use plywood but used PSL post and beams? Non- sequitur
Ответитьvery impressive!
Ответитьthermal mass is not disproven. it is just that it is suitable only to certain latitudes/annual weather patterns. eg in the tropics you build high on stilts to allow all around airflow.
Ответитьhow come the access for the waste tank is inside the house? why not have the door on the outside? just have an external door?
ОтветитьI'm in love with this home. I would so love to have something similar to this. How can one do this? I do live in alberta Canada. Our family wants to have a sustainable and off grid home. It's our dream ✨️
Ответитьcomposting toilet but this guy has a lawn LOL!
ОтветитьWhat country is there?
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful home. Thank you for sharing it with us. Kathy.
Ответитьthis is stunning
ОтветитьThis is incredible! Can anyone explain how the strawbales in the wall don't decompose over time and impact the scructure/insulation of the house?
ОтветитьFew questions. Do the hay bales break down eventually and leave gap between the layers of clay? Were the hay bales sprayed for bugs first? Lastly, they keep touting "sustainable" does that mean that somehow they also create the clay?
ОтветитьHe should've saved some of that straw for mulch. Cover that garden.
ОтветитьClimate change 🤣
ОтветитьHope you people all flooding to the country leave your politics in the cities you came from.
ОтветитьWonderful
ОтветитьI wish I could turn the background music down.
ОтветитьDo you mow the lawn on the roof ?
ОтветитьWhat has dethroned thermal mass as the most effective passive heating? I’m so curious!
Ответитьburning wood is not very ecologically friendly as people think
ОтветитьIts great to see this guy, his wife and his wife's son living in such a great house!
ОтветитьWhat was the price of this?
ОтветитьI wish I could build the same home in Africa.
Can I have a copy of the building plan by any chance ?
This is awesome. Good for them! Love seeing this. Inspirational.
ОтветитьThat’s my dream…. A sustainable house
ОтветитьThis is an amazing house, but seems like a massive overuse and dependency on sustainable technology
ОтветитьTop 10 Best episode for sure!
ОтветитьWhat got me is straw bails as insulators. I’m not taking nothing away. It seems like a rodents paradise. I need educated how this doesn’t fail. Most respectfully.
ОтветитьJust wondering, how do you harvest rain water?
ОтветитьI just truly love it.
ОтветитьIt is nice, but I would like it more with greenhouse like earthship have. Cool air from back has more solution that to burry long pipe underground. Otherwise I really like, I am big fan of greenroofs and earthen plaster.
ОтветитьI really want a natural build like this but its so expensive!
ОтветитьI really need help I want to live underground.
ОтветитьThe plaster straw walls are just lovely
ОтветитьHow amazing is this !
ОтветитьI want this so much
ОтветитьBeautiful home! I was curious about the bedroom pods and wished more time was spent exploring the layout/design of the floor plan.
