ОтветитьMy 5th grade teacher showed our class this in 1995
ОтветитьOH MARVA I WISH I HAD HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF HAVING YOU AS MY TEACHER. I HAVE LESS THAN A GRADE 6 EDUCATION. I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO KEEP A JOB BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER FELT THAT I WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO EVEN SCRUB TOILETS.
I'M OLD NOW AND I HAVE TAUGHT MYSELF A FEW BASIC THINGS
NOT MATH!.READING THE BIBLE BUT NOT ALWAYS UNDSTANDING IT. SPELLING IS FAIRLY GOOD. I LOVE TO WRITE STORIES ✍️ ❤️. ADVENTURE SCI FI
A teacher who taught in a war zone a true ghetto it's takes courage to do what she did and help the kids in that area 🎉🎉
ОтветитьAs a early childhood educator. This story just blessed my soul
ОтветитьI want my own school too just like or similar to micheala school ( forgive for the mispelling😊) these days students don't respect teachers, don't care about education, very rude, irresponsible..... so i want to go back to OLD SCHOOL methods of course without the stick 😊. 40.43 say the same to my students 😅but
Ответить13.17 these days u can t touch a child cheek nor hug them i get it. Wow she turned the offer to serve as an education secretary ❤
Ответить“I’m a teacher. A teacher is someone who leads. There is no magic here. I do not walk on water. I do not part the sea. I just love children.”
— Marva Collins
Mrs. Collins was an amazing visionary. Her vision of excellence for all students is a testimony to her life and the lives that she poured into. Mrs. Tyson was an excellent actress she will be deeply missed.
ОтветитьWhat a great movie and one of my favorite actors 🙏🏽♥️
ОтветитьWow,wow, wow!
ОтветитьThis is my first time ever watching this movie 🍿🎥 and I love it Mrs. Marva Collins never gave up on her students she fought so hard that they may have an better education she had patience and understanding with them she never gave up on them . When my baby daughter was going to school she had the toughest time with certain pupils and she had several teachers who were prejudice I never forget having to go to the 🏫 and talking to the teacher and the principal I thank God that He gave me the strength to be strong and stand up for my child and the things that were wrong
ОтветитьSeeing a young Morgan Freeman didn't feel right.😳
ОтветитьWhat an OUTSTANDING film ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьExcellent movie!!!❤❤
ОтветитьThis was one of the greatest true story movie l have seen about education. This is one to see.❤
Ответить❤❤ very good movie 👌
Ответить🤩🥰
ОтветитьWhat an inspirational and motivational Mrs.Marva.Collins who started Westside Preparotary School enrolling dumb and low IQ kids to become smart in learning and scoring exceptionally high grades in an exam conducted on a national educational level.
A wonderful and caring husband supporting with kids who also stood up to the test of time too back in those days in that neighborhood in the US.
May her legacy live on into the future, period.🤔❤👍🙏
The love, dedication and commitment is mind blowing. If this kind still exists then the world would be a better place for all
ОтветитьEvery teacher in the world needs to see this movie ❤❤❤
ОтветитьAwesome movie! It was refreshing to see how one person believing in her studens; showing them 'unconditional love' could help them see (& reach) their God-given potential. I loved watching the transformation take place. We need more of these stories to be told. Thank you for sharing. It was a blessing 😊
ОтветитьThe worst could be happening in mrs Collins is try to fighting so hard to win the battlefield of system and from taking over our freedom of last like yesterday up here to connect a good time.
ОтветитьGood good story❤❤
ОтветитьI am happy to have seen this inspiring movie! This movie has so many good and important things to teach us. Mrs. Collins did a wonderful job of teaching❤
ОтветитьShe also taught the importance of self respect and the joy of achievement despite circumstances. Reminds me of Dr. Ben Carson. What a wonderful inspiration.
ОтветитьWatching this felt so good!
ОтветитьFinally, she plays a beautiful young woman, and not a Miss Pittman or the woman, called Moses. She was underated. Nk woman or man play a more believable, role than her, black or white. Why did she not received an Oscar in simething, during her kife time!!
ОтветитьWow powerful teachings ❤
ОтветитьThe late artist Prince admired the late Ms Collins' education work. I think he even featured her in one of his music videos. First time seeing this movie too 😊
ОтветитьQuiero verla en españolllllkkk.
Hacerlo por mi xf .. gracias 🤩 😂😂😂❤
Talented,it takes patien, compassion and plent of courage, love, for others and will spirit to make a difference in someone else life-----+ bless the teachers that have given their time, to cause the children to understand...
ОтветитьWaoooo what an amazing story.
ОтветитьA Very Very Great Movie Thank You😊
ОтветитьEvery teacher training college should have a copy of this video showing the inequalities in the education system of that time, that is still relevant today in schools in many developed and developing countries. This woman changed childrens lives and in turn, those of their parents.
ОтветитьJah Jah God 🙏 💔 crying 😢
Ответить@candace Owens
ОтветитьThis woman was amazing and I taught Special Education students after graduating college but this is a movie everyone ought to see. Not only blacks but whites ,Asians, Spanish, plus all nationalities.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI Really like this movie, my 1st time watching ,the family iliked. Caught my focus right on this movie .
ОтветитьWatching, from Tulsa Oklahoma.
ОтветитьTeaching is a natural gift, it encompasses dedication, compassion, focus etc. It is a highly rewarding jobs maybe sometimes not with the pay, but with the joy and excitement that comes therein.
ОтветитьExcellent
ОтветитьI lived in Chicago when this beautiful woman opened her own school, her style of teaching should be implemented today and onward!!!! 2023++++
ОтветитьWow, this truly makes me examine my mindset as a teacher! Awesome woman!
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ответитьit was not only her teach style. She was giving them something they was not getting at home. Love and affection. I think a lot of blacks of that time priod didn’t understand that. a lot of blacks of today still don’t understand psychology. or when someone is damage.
