Iv played ironman many times, but the intrigue related, rng related achievements always discouraged me to try to get all achievements, now as theyv removed having to play on ironman to get these, I feel like getting them, definitely added more to the game for me

I was only missing 2 achievements and one was "The Things Love Does For Us" and your explanation helped a lot.
The other achievement I'm missing is "Ahab" when you have a new video that includes this achievement I'll check it out.

Just a little remark on give a dog a bone. Matilda starts with no house members, but she has a couple of dynasty members: unlanded Oberto de Ghiberti with three sons and your vassal count Arduino of Parma with a son and two grandchildren. If you make sure they're all married and have land, you can get the dynasty to grow faster.

I understand that CK players are generally divided between RP’ers and min-maxers but this is insane. It’s like a weird hybrid of treating your characters and realm like gussied up spreadsheets, and card counting at a casino. This is like the least fun way to play the game. Like one baby step removed from just downloading a mod that unlocks all your achievements for free.

I was able to imprison myself. That was funny. "You imprison you" lol.

In the achivement Holiday in Iberia+ Iberian Hostilities you have no longer the chance toget to the hostilety phase.
Dose anybody know how else we could get to this phase?

I just got Last Count First King post FOI and Royal Court without creating a character. Pretty difficult.

I think they patched out the "create a ruler, play as a historical" exploit because it automatically turns off achievements trying to do that now. :(

How did you have enough piety to immediately convert Alos in Almost there right off the bat? I was 1100 piety short and had to wait XD

aww, they patched out getting achievements with characters other than your own being custom :(. gonna be so annoying to figure out how to do a couple of these achievements without that.

so I'm using this as a general achievement guide. and prior to your videos i never thought of making custom characters to make things easier. so here i actually went and fought through the elections and dynasty stuff to end up as the emperor in my second or third generation.

doing it without character creation can have a lot of dynastic infighting attempting to get the characters you want to be your heir, and a bunch of politics and intrigue, killing the better candidates or blackmailing votes onto your heir, or yourself. but i got it surprisingly quickly for having just been messing about.

I could not get Iberia or Iberia with a custom created ruler.

I don't think the custom character exploit is still valid

I think I can suggest some improvements to the start of the Norman Yoke run:

First of all, Crown Authority should be advanced before doing anything. It's cheap at the start because the realm is small. This way you dont need to bother gaining prestige after taking England in order to revoke titles, you can just do that right away

Second, dont raise any armies at all for the England conquest, use only allies and the free event units. Once you win the war, you'll have around 1000 gold and can build the Tower of London right away and get a good head start on economy

The tactic of ruler designing weak characters doesn't work anymore. Whenever you create a ruler you have to play as that character or the achievements can't be unlocked.

you cheated on all these "just change the rulers and make them weak" woooow thats maidenless! why even play the game of you are going to cheat?

Are there any tips about "Inspirational"? I don't even get how many Inspirations I should support to unlock it (in Steam it's said 30 and in the game it's 50)

did they change something in the 1.8 update? whenever i create a garbage ruler it wont let me enable achievements if i try to play as another default ruler. (it will let me play as the created ruler though)

With the recent 1.8 patch creating custom rulers but not playing them disables achivements.

I think they've patched if you create a leader you have to play them now? Might need a new guide to most of these that use that now!

Can you do a video talking about what you personally enjoy (or, what you think is powerful) in each of the "long term" choices of the game? Cultural traditions, religions, duchy buildings, MAA, legacies, etc. Also - how do you manage the vassals/vassal limit of an extremely large empire, how much can you avoid internal border gore by planning ahead as you conquer? And which innovations do you prioritize in a game like the End of an Era run?

[end of an era run] Why do you treat the HRE and Byz are "too hard to hold on to" as empires, but treat having all the same vassals as a king as no big deal? What difference does your tier make to it? If you can handle things as a king by letting the new vassals go independent, why doesn't that apply also to holding the empire titles? Is it that the factions are fractured among the different de-jure kingdoms?

Patch 1.8 finished most of these achievements, creating custom character and not choosing them will now disable the achievements in CK3.

I picked the wrong week to try for all chieves...

Rise of the ghurids strat doesn't work in the current patch. It's almost impossible to peacefully vassalize kings without every positive modifier available (and if you have traits they don't like, it's a non-starter).
