Why isnt there the old artwork of the Blue Eyes White Dragon in those boosters?

That's way too many holos. They definitely upped the pull rate of good cards. LOB was such a bad set. That being said, I am salty I never pulled a Red Eyes or Tri Horned Dragon for my dragon deck and Gaia the Dragon Champion. 😢 I had super and ultra rares of the structure deck cards. Good times playing. Horrible time pulling.

The blue eyes white dragon card from the booster packs, when I was in grade 6 I told my best friend I had a secret crush and he said he’d give me his blue eyes if I told him who I had a crush on, haha I told him I had a crush on this girl Tania and he gave me his blue eyes! True story

i wish they kept the original print "flavor" old cards from 2002-2006 had. New cards have too much "contrast" / brightness to them which makes them feel fake

Red Eyes Black Dragon for me, first ultra i owned

Most nostalgic for me would be Red Eyes. I didn't grow up with much in life, but my cousin did. When we were kids I came over and he had a whole shoe box full of cards, he told me he wanted to teach me to play and made me a deck with Red Eyes as its staple card. I handed it to him when we went to leave and he's like "uhm no? that's yours" and I was finally able to play with other people and start my obsession!

pulled an lob blue eyes, a super tribute to the doomed (mrd) a secret serpent knight dragon (srl) AND a chaos emperor dragon (ioc) from one of the 25th anniverdary legendary collection boxes. along with the secret promo blue eyes. the lob blue eyes being a $50 card blew me away when researching it last night. that alone paid for the box lol

Red eyes is def the most nostalgic. Something about not being as mainstream as blue eyes made it cooler to me
