Ok here is the thing I noticed, tell me if I'm wrong. You watch a regular Tour Event's highlight reel for Rd 4. Its putting highlights. And the comments are always dumping all over the fact they mostly show putts. Well, how come any country event like this, or the Cups (Ryder and Presidents) the putting seems to be way more dramatic and interesting. Its because of stakes! I think the PGA Tour doesn't have this anymore, and LIV actually took the stakes down even more. Its majors, The Cups, and Olympics slowly starting to have the reputation of drama, of stakes. Its so much fun to watch golf like this. That being said the majors were pretty good this year. Still its these events that are the best.

I was explaining this final round to a friend after round 3 as Xander just won the Open so he will probably win this but Scottie is world number 1 for a reason. I honestly didn't think he would do this and I'm kicking myself for sleeping in. I picked up the broadcast just after the final results were confirmed

Best year for a golfer since 2000 Tiger. 7 wins, won the Players, Masters, and Olympic gold. With a few tournaments left in the year, he could honestly make a push for the number one spot.
