Do it full body track?
ОтветитьUm, the links are broken
Ответитьno pancake lenses or eye tracking is an unfortunate deal killer, also mediocre tracking
ОтветитьI will bet my money on the Quest 3 considering they can do pcvr and stand alone.
ОтветитьThe best part is that the money ISN'T going to zuckerberg.
Ответить太贴切了
ОтветитьAbout 5 minutes ago I saw you in breachers. “Come out with your hands up and your pants down!”
ОтветитьBc I love my quest to much
ОтветитьWait so is it stand alone or pc it looks like a stand-alone
Ответитьim the one who wanted to give u banana bread in breachers
ОтветитьMk this new editing style is amazing
ОтветитьFor those who plays mostly SIM racings this is a no brainer!
Ответитьcan you use the lighthouses with it and the valve controller
ОтветитьHow its integration with steamVR ?
ОтветитьThe quest 2 is amazing just cuz some games sucked doesn’t mean it’s the headsets fault
ОтветитьHey, I really enjoyed the video, but had a few things I wanted to bring up. I don't think you mentioned the 120hz mode which is a really nice feature to have especially for people who are big into rhythm games. It is also present on the Quest 2, but in my experience it can cause artifacts due to the way the image is compressed on its way to the headset. I would love to see examples of how the controllers lose tracking and how quickly they recover. As a previous Windows mixed reality user, it was frustrating to lose tracking and have to wait 3-5 seconds to get it back, while Quest 2 almost never loses tracking for me and quickly recovers if it is lost. Their website also mentions each controller gets about 5-6 hours of use on an AA battery. I think that's pretty rough when compared to the Quest 2's ~80 hours on a single AA. I would also be interested in more detail on the software experience. Again Windows mixed reality has its own launcher that you had to navigate through to get to SteamVR, but other headsets like the Bigscreen Beyond hook straight into SteamVR. I'd love to know a bit more detail on how that experience is other than what you mentioned about performance. Also based on a quick Google search, I believe the Quest 2 has the same resolution. It might be spread more thin across the FOV but it seems they're using the exact same panel. I think a good thing to focus on would be the lack of compression artifacts when compared to the Quest 2 due to having a direct display port connection. I understand some of these things would be difficult to fit into the video and keep the energy up. Overall I think the video is great and I hope you can keep up the good work and keep growing your channel!
Ответить1st:
When I first time put on my new Quest 2 I was bombed by the resolution. It looked like I was looking at a 720p phone with my eye tapped to it. It was so bad I started thinking that maybe my Quest 2 was faulty or something but in reality all quest 2 headsets have pixelated resolution where you can see every individual pixel if you want to. I accepted the fact that resolution can't be made better and you had to g along with it (you can increase resolution using oculus app or side quest but that makes the headset laggy and unusable)
2nd:
I downloaded the most hyped games like Beat Saber, Pistol Whip, Table tennis, The Climb 2 and Red Matter, But got bored of all of them pretty Quickly. Because if you don't feel anything in any of your senses except for that 3rd class haptic controller feedback. Also the speakers are not that good it sounds like a speaker of a very old phone. No real feel no Good experience. I also went on to try Half life alyx and to be honest, its basically the only best experience you can get on quest 2.
3rd:
Watching multimedia, don't even get me started.. damn you can't enjoy any movie on the headset even if you have fancy cinema apps like Skybox or Pigasus, because of low resolution pixelated display, lagging non immersive audio and not to mention the 2 ton weight of the headset on your face.
4th:
Modding Quest 2. I was so hyped to customize the headset but then Dear Suker Burg released the Anti Modding Missiles to obliterate the Quest 2 Hardware. I still thought about modding but couldn't find the nerve to lose the Quest 2, after all it's expensive PIECE OF S... Device :)
5th:
In the previous Stages I thought about returning the Quest 2 (Countless times) but this time I was ABSOLUTELY Ready, but theeeeeeeeen I thought about it and I saw that they were giving constant worthy updates to it so there might still be a chance to make it better in future. Especially now that Quest Pro line has been cancelled, they can have more time to look at Quest 2 and 3.
White label chinese dropship garbage
Ответитьpico 3 neo link is better option with displayport and standalone
Ответитьfor what it costs totally not worth it why on earth would you get this over lets say hp reverb g2 thats better and usually costs less. this feels like some sponsored bs tbh
ОтветитьHey vr central, I’m sorry for killing your with a m4! Anyways you did great on tabor
ОтветитьI would've been interested in this if it was wireless pcvr.
Ответитьso this is a good alternative to the upcoming quest 3? sure we don't know much abt it yet but we know the specs and it's standalone and a bit cheaper than this one.
just asking cause I want to buy a vr headset and I'm considering my options.
also, since the controllers are similar to the quest 2, do the controller grips for the quest fit this?
when I had this headset before returning it and getting the beyond I liked it a lot definitely the best pcvr headset for less than 500$ only thing was that rubber interface I just took it off whenever I used it because it just caused my forehead to itch. Wish more company's tried making a headset like this where its light and has decent visuals but with a better interface the set ipd worked surprisingly great too. Good video also about the headset!
ОтветитьI absolutely love my E4! I’ve had it since June and it retired my rift s and quest 2 via link cable. I bought it based on the enthusiasm of Disco Vr and MRTV!
ОтветитьThis sounds more like an advertisement or a sponsored video than an actual review. Way too positive about certain things and completely glossing over any negatives. Such as the stand alone. It's $550 and has the same resolution as the Quest 2 being almost twice the price. But when you describe the price you say how its comparable. It's literally almost twice the price. Quest3 will be priced under this.
ОтветитьPico neo 3 link is the best budget PCVR headset and costs half of this. It also has standalone should you want to play your games wirelessly.
ОтветитьThat sounds more like the reincarnation of the Rift S
ОтветитьI wish you and others would learn to do these videos without the annoying background music.
ОтветитьIf only Meta release budget friendly pcvr with uncompressed displayport and no battery to worry about in a headset, I will buy all the vr games through Meta store to help Mark
ОтветитьShame its got fresnel lenses :(
ОтветитьStreaming? This will be a fail. Good luck, but I will pass. A Chinese product?
ОтветитьNice video. Sub count is a bit too low for a channel with THAT name. We need to fix that 💪👍
ОтветитьHigher fov and oled or micro led is what I'm wanting in a headset.
ОтветитьI’m sorry. Diz Headset blows
ОтветитьI have the quest 2 should I use for pcvr or get this headset
ОтветитьGreat video! Bgm was a little loud and very well thought out video!
Ответитьgood video
Ответитьi love home music
ОтветитьQuality as usual plus though it wasn't a clip that rocket snipe I made in the halo mod was the peak of my career
ОтветитьThis or hp reverb g2? Which one should I get
ОтветитьEdition moment
ОтветитьA company ive had to deal with quite a bit over the last 6 months, I'll admit their 3dof headsets are pretty bad at hitting the mark, i will eventually try the e4, but it does have a featureset that existed in the original WMR headsets from 2017
ОтветитьGood video bro
ОтветитьEpic thanks also breachers looked great ❤
Ответитьthe flipping is pretty cool.
ОтветитьThis video was pretty good
