I agree but one of my very first attempts at posting videos on you tube to give you context. 😅

You know it's windy when they pull a handkerchief over the mast.

Incredible. 50 knots is absolutely exhausting.

Looks like you are doing 100% backfoot pressure. Aim for 100% mast foot pressure, that stabilizes and glues the board to the surface of the water.

Do this by applying pressure to the front foot and especially put downward pressure on the boom. Don't forget to keep trimming the sail open and closed even with as much mast foot pressure as possible.

In Hawaii if you wore a helmet people would look at you like you are a nut, but after seeing the Gorge like that, I think one would have to be nutty to not to wear the protection you had on. It doesn't take but one moment of lost focus to have the wind slam that mast across your head or face. Sorry to hear about your knees, I am having a partial knee replacement at the end of May, from a 30 year old windsurf injury.

Awesome!! Had several summers camping at Maryhill and Peach Beach, windsurfing then kitesurfing. Roadtrek camper van, trailer with his and her gear, dog and the 2 of us all the way from Toronto. The other guys were always jealous that I had a girlfriend who windsurfed too. Also she was hot and looked great in a bikini!!

Conventional monohull sailors would not go out in that...but if you insist on sailing a splinter with a sail on it, go ahead & give it a shot!

I enjoy your video, I always wanted to sail the gorge since the 1980s after seeing many articles in windsurfing magazines however I never got over there unfortunately. Thank you..
