I'm 60 and I've never had a new car 😪
ОтветитьBoomers want everyone else to pay there bills for them.
ОтветитьEnjoy the harvest boomers
ОтветитьI got burned heavy buying insurance for my wellbeing on my VISA...they didn't fulfill it, and they want $7000 for the $2000 I borrowed on Visa...got hurt at work and they sold my debt to a govt collection agency.....
ОтветитьCopy paste data.
ОтветитьAlso, what happens when boomers die? Will their retirement assets be liquidated so it can be disbursed to the government and inheritors?
ОтветитьAmazon video sir thanks for all the info new subscriber ❤️
ОтветитьAs a Gen Xer who retired at 40 with a military pension and with no debt and is currently 50. I look forward to the Boomer sell off. Love me a bargain.
ОтветитьBaby boomers will die out but everyone else will starve don't blame the boomers blame the elite.
ОтветитьGen X here and I'm not buying this Boomer victimhood narrative. "It's Wall Street's fault! They convinced us to use credit!" So, to summarize, the Boomers levered-up, didn't save, bought shit they didn't need and now will let everything explode (assuming they don't convince the lender of last resort to print our economy into oblivion to save your ass). And somehow, in this story, the rest of us will be "just fine" because we will be able to buy fire sale assets with money we don't have (and which will likely be worthless due to the hyperinflation caused by the aforementioned lender of last resort). The cherry on the cake with this Boomer entitlement is that the "New World" created by younger generations is going to rescue these entitled broke ass Boomers from their tent-based retirement plan. If you are rescued it will only be because we are a more advanced iteration of Humanity.
ОтветитьWallstreet = the government
ОтветитьAs a young person I found this video very informative, so thank you! But why does it seem like these types of conversations skip right from Boomers to Millennials? Where do Gen Xers fit into all of this?
ОтветитьThe younger generation has ideas……ideas about what type of socialism we’re going to implement
ОтветитьHe speaks the TRUTH.
ОтветитьYou mean the X generation retirement crisis not the Baby Boomers. Most of them are already retired and own homes etc.
ОтветитьHe needs a 4 minute rant about having to listen to voice-mails
ОтветитьAs an artist myself, I gave to thank you for mentioning the art market. Pretty interesting
ОтветитьIn my view the baby boomers have been the most selfish generation in history. Look at all the debt they created for goods and services they were unwilling to pay for but were perfectly happy to stick that bill to future generations who got none of the benefits.
ОтветитьTypical Boomer doesn't even mention Gen X, seeking to appropriate us and pretend we are them. NO WAY. Also, now in COVID, Boomers are staying and retiring in place.
ОтветитьAs a silent Generation, I feel ancient, our children are retiring now.
ОтветитьBoomers screwed us so screw them.
ОтветитьYou couldn’t make a investment on your own? When everyone is shoving you to Wall Street, you know what happens when all rabbits are herded into a corner of a pen? They are clubbed. You’re explaining this as though you had no vision. Independent thought on topics you personally know about , maybe you want to invest. But to delegate that direction to an insurance salesman coupled with low performance on a small a amount early. It’s not hard to figure out that it’s a rigged game. A person against supercomputers.
Ответитьhow much money is da book
ОтветитьThe satanic generation. /“Sexual Revolution” Boom 💥. And the ones that called Vietnam Vets Baby killers as they say “ my bod, my choice”. Please...
ОтветитьThis is worthless poppycock! Dude.... stay away from statistics.... and other things you know nothing about.
ОтветитьWell, we really are all Keynesians now!
ОтветитьI am a boomer but this does not describe my experience at all. My parents worked hard, lived modestly, saved their money and provided a middle class life for our family. I have worked most of my life for low wages as a draftsman ( because I was not paid what the men were paid), raised my child frugally (often working a second job) without welfare (deadbeat dad). It’s been hard but I made it and am looking forward to retirement next year. Yes, I will need that social security and medicate ( which I have paid into all my working life) and have a small savings also. I have not lived a fancy life. I did not feel entitled, like the world owed me anything. I have always supported efforts to take care of the environment for future generations and donated to those in need. Lumping everyone in my generation together and treating us like an evil horde is unfair and ignorant.
ОтветитьI totally agree with you. Your content was very informative.
ОтветитьA legit case for why we all need to be listening to our elders in America. They’ve been there and done it. Valuable experience, compassion, and genuine concern for the next generation,
ОтветитьEasy. Just end Social Security. We Millennials need to REFUSE to pay for the Boomer retirement and tell them to pull their own plug. The Boomers as a generation have spent their entire lives being bullies to their elders, their younger siblings, and their own children, and promoted themselves at the expense of someone else. And they did nothing but abuse their Millennial children and put them down every chance they got. So in return, us Millennials will not be going out of our way to look after the Boomers in their old age.
And furthermore, TAXATION IS THEFT!
the only reason we are a consumption based society at all is because the boomers sold us out to china for cheap goods, and imediate profit.
ОтветитьThank you, what a great advice to us millenials!
ОтветитьOne day the Millennials will just strike until...
ОтветитьA lot of this Kid's are from European countries hard working families
ОтветитьIt's tough to tell the future..2020 vs. 2022 Housing up 30% + Amazon stock up 50%.
ОтветитьI hope you're right. If not, us boomers will be in deep mierda.
ОтветитьO may god a boomer depression
ОтветитьNext-generation will chase the almighty dollar because we have lots of student loans
ОтветитьHaving the 750k houses was always insane.what for? Best is to invest in 2-3 houses for 750k in total. Rent out. Thesne smaller houses will always sell
Ответить1/30/2022... mad this is so on point, esplly here in ATLANTA, house market is insane!!!! Houses flipping within a day or so.
ОтветитьHurry up and leave so we can fix yalls mess
Ответитьwouldnt they just pass their assets to their kids. u missed that big point lol
ОтветитьOutstanding video!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
ОтветитьThey wrote about these conditions thousands of years ago but we either didn't care or to stupid to understand. Are you going to let somebody else eat your steak? Just think about that when you get hungry, and that evnt is not too far inn the future..
ОтветитьAppreciate the insight but leave it to Boomers to believe that their demise is the "end of the world". Just the end of yours - a new beginning for everyone else.
ОтветитьThis guy looks evil enough to be a boomer
ОтветитьHmmm... as an Accountant and the only one who actually read my economic books in college, I think some good points were brought up here. Yet, some other huge key factors weren't mentioned. One of the biggest, that the government gets all the taxes from 401(k) monies sold, you can't have a conversation about this without mentioning this. Also, anybody that's studied retirement, knows one is supposed to live off interest NOT selling off their 401(k)'s. Richer people in retirement are going to transfer their wealth over to their heirs NOT selling it all off down to zero. Retirement is a topic we need to keep talking about.
ОтветитьOur president Biden gave the Ukrainian people retirement fund so they'd have money in their pocket that American taxpayers paid for
ОтветитьDye-off? Is that when they go to the hair salon?
ОтветитьClosest 2023 in social security was just raised
Ответить
