ОтветитьI’m always riding solo, work schedules never match. I always go by a simple rule, if it takes me 20 minutes to ride there it will take me a day to walk out.
Ответитьawsome cant wait for more vids love those hill climbs tho
ОтветитьGreat video! BC is so Amazing. I am flying out Friday from Ontario to meet a good friend for 2 full weeks of riding and camping in that beautiful province. I cant wait!!!

ОтветитьSony camera details again please?
ОтветитьCool vid—informative and cinematic!
ОтветитьNice video. What hand guards on those on your 690?
ОтветитьI have been riding solo dual sport for 15 years. What I learned is to always know where you are, make sure someone else knows where you are going prior to leaving, ride well within your comfort zone. Other than that GPS devices like the Garmin InReach, Delorme InReach, and SpotX can save your life.
ОтветитьAnother great video mate. Appreciate all your video tips. I ride solo a bit on my WR250R in Australia. I also carry SPOT emergency Sat device like you. Also a tail bag full of goodies to do a basic repair or survive a night in the bush. It is unfair to expect family to try and find you if you didn't return back home after a day ride. The SPOT provides them with a very accurate location. I've never pressed the red button in many years of riding, but its good peace of mind having it there, just in case.
ОтветитьGreat video work, you are having too much fun! I just retired recently and end-up solo for most of my off road adventures. The " Spot gps tracker " is a great tip, thanks and happy trails!
ОтветитьHaha bro im canadian too😂
ОтветитьI'm an old guy that rides solo quite often. I carry all those things (spot, etc). I live in Southern California and the stay to the right tip is one to stay alive by. Out here in some areas you have better stay to the right on blind turns, hilly straights. Sometimes that doesn't even matter, people drive like they do on a the freeways. Been run into the bushes by a couple of quads, bikes and Razors over the years.Once a couple of years ago the people slowed down and then took off, I was left pulling my bike out alone. Now I am retired and ride when most are at work or go further out.
Anyway, thanks for a great video. God speed ✌
I love my 690, do not need another one
ОтветитьHaving a good time going through the Bush here in Mexico up to 5000m.
ОтветитьGo ahead, like to see 2020 videos
ОтветитьNice video being it heavier than a true dirtbike does it give you any problems lifting it back up when falling in the bush?
ОтветитьJust wanted to say thank you. I'm over the hill and just got into bikes last June after getting bored with vehicle wheeling and overlanding. Last week I picked up a new to me 2018 KTM 690 Enduro that I'm slowly adding gear to. Before that I was learning on a CRF450Rx for a few months. Anyway, everything I research brings me back to your channel and videos. When I practice now I have what I feel is a solid base line and I try to replay your videos in my head when riding. Thanks for supporting the sport and taking the time to help us new-old guys lol. I'm planning a trip to ride Big Bend as a prep for Moab soon. I'll be applying what I've learned here. Thanks, brother.
ОтветитьMine wont run like that without pegging the temp and the fan running max! For mine lugging it is 4000 rpm witch puts it at instant power with a twist of the throttle..
