To Explain: there are definite animals all over the globe who we rarely ever see, but know exist, for example gorillas are rarely seen by the average person in the wild without a guide to take them DEEP deep into the jungle. Well, we can't ever see them on frequent trails, don't see bones or carcasses either and the average person wouldn't know em either. So how do we track them? By their feeding and nesting habits. With supposed "Bigfoots" literally the only signs of their existence is the occasional track (almost always just one or two by itself as a complete footprint instead of a trail of tracks, some of which may be partial) but with gorillas we see their left over nests, disturbances where they forage for food, scat, tracks, etc. Bigfoots leave NONE of these except the bare few tracks.

And for the DNA collection: in local water tables in various environments, the DNA of all creatures in an area gradually collect within bodies of water, such as lakes and ponds as the creatures go to get a drink and their skin, hair, feces, urine, etc collect or are carried there by streams.
We have never, EVER found ANYTHING even PARTIALLY resembling ape or homonid DNA in said collections of DNA, save for pure proper humans who may have been around.

Keep these in mind when considering bigfoots

The poster talking about the bears/bigfoot (second reply) is really bugging me. You absolutely can identify a bear from its bones, and it's not difficult if you know what you're looking for. The skull is not the only identifying feature of ANY animal. Bones of all types will vary creature to creature. Try looking up a bird pelvis, or a mole humerus. There are differences in the way the skeleton looks (and therefore the way individual bones look) according to the animal's adaptations. Certainly it's difficult, but that's why we try to take good pictures to show to real experts later, and then learn from them so we can make our own IDs in the future.
Idk, I know it's not really the point, but I really enjoy IDing animal remains (as a hobby), and that poster really shouldn't be trying to rest their point on such a shaky foundation of knowledge. I understand what they're getting at, but this was not the way to frame their argument, lol

Op is regarded, Bear bones are that of a carnivore you would have to be absolutely blind to mistake deer bones for it. Big Foot I would assume has a primate bone structure, which is also easy to spot

Anyone who says "We'd have a photo by now" is missing the point. The sasquatch is elusive. Not because they don't exist, but because they're goddamn primates. Think of an animal with the same brain to body mass as humans but with their brains devoted to being sneaky. Think about the implications.

Second, they're in the forest. They're only in the forest, and that's their territory. If you put a sasquatch in the city, we'd see it.

Story 3 Pisses me off, if people tell you not to look don't fucking look.

I died once. I was in an abusive relationship that I moved across the country to be in. He started cheating on me and was too much of a coward to just break up with me. One night my friend held a party and I decided to shoot my shot and end it all. I drank an entire bottle and a half of cheap vodka and other booze. My heart ended up stopping that night and I died on the bathroom floor of my friend’s house. I remember seeing flashes of light that looked like lightning before standing before a deep black void. I kept staring into it and feeling myself being called in. I sat down to jump in before feeling myself dragged back and my name being called. I woke up on my friend’s floor, my ex preformed CPR and brought me back. I still remember that feeling and sometimes feel like I want to go back to that void

The concept of the bigfoot/black bear is spot on, but rather i want people to switch the black bear out wiith say a bobcat. Everyone knows bobcats are real and rare, but you dont realize how rare it really is to see one.. they're soo elusive and the only time you'll ever see one would be by accident.
