❗Blink beacon three times for false alarms, accidental burning, or other unintentional ignitions.❗
ОтветитьI just came here for the orchestra just as I remember in the old days
ОтветитьLast week i watched this movie with live orchestra. When this scene came up, the crowd exploded into adrenaline and happiness.
Best f*cking expierence in my life.
luckly nobody was goofing off from work that day
ОтветитьNo wonder tourism to New Zealand became a rage after this. Canadians must be hoping for their own LOTR as well. 😅
ОтветитьWow, I forgot how good Lord of the Rings is. 🥹
ОтветитьAnd the Titanic will answer!
ОтветитьThe music is just chills
ОтветитьTotal shivers everytime Aragorn runs in shouting "The beacons are lit! Ghondor calls for aide!" And then the response "and Rohan will answer" i could run through a brick wall i swear
ОтветитьThe world doesnt deserve such an amazing scene
ОтветитьThank god these were made back when they were. The nasties can't tamper with them.
ОтветитьTHE BEACONS ARE LIT GONDOR CALLS FOR AID
Ответить"You have two days! ... On the third, we ride for Gondor....and War!"
Small words, gréat meaning: Eomer, Grimbold and Gamling: Theoden's Warlords, were to ride out and rally as many people as possible, yet, despite the need, Theoden did add that they need to spare their horses enough to save strenght to ríde to Gondor after, and have the strenght to do battle!
Small details, but só important: Exhausted troops are useless on a battlefield: Any assembled troops hád to be able to fight their very best still!
The irony of this scene, is that in the books, it's just a throw away line as Gandalf and Pippin ride to Minas Tirith, as they see a couple of the beacons lit in their passing. Peter Jackson and Howard Shore turned it into a epic scene of hope against a relentless and remorseless foe.
Ответить"THE BEACONS ARE LIT! GONDOR CALLS FOR AID!!!!" "AND ROHAN WILL ANSWER!, MUSTER THE ROHIRRIIM!" that was a man committed to his ideals and prepared to pay the price of his journey.
ОтветитьI think in his moment of consideration, Theoden thought back to the moment that Aragorn charged him to be a true king and ride out against the orcs to defend Helms Deep when he was in despair. Theoden, in speaking with Eowyn, makes it clear he saw Aragorn as the hero of that moment. This was his chance to truly lead one last time before passing the torch to Aragorn and Eowyn.
ОтветитьTheoden was such a great representation for men. A real king of old.
ОтветитьThis scene always brings tears to my eyes :)
ОтветитьI love how he looks at Legolas and sees what the Elves, who are immortal, choose to help knowing they will die and realizes he must do the same.
Ответитьmy god..... this sounddesign. the break in the orchesteral music is composed exactly to give theoden his thinking break, after underlining aragorns cry when entering the door
ОтветитьAfter watching this like 10 times, my hair grew back on my bald spot, I gained 10 pounds in solid muscle, my testosterone levels shot up to pre 30 year old conditions, and I grew out a fully connecting Viking beard.
ОтветитьAids
ОтветитьHonestly this scene would have been better if it was a common soldier instead of Aragorn
ОтветитьNot gonna lie, the Wii version of this did a great job keeping the epicness of the original.
ОтветитьCan we get a moment of silence for the poor bastards who guard the beacons on the top of those mountains.
Ответить“ - Ukraine calls for aid !
-…
-…
- And OTAN will answer ! “
I bet there's a gag reel that goes something like this:
Aragorn: "THE BEACONS OF MINAS TIRITH! THE BEACONS ARE LIT! GONDOR CALLS FOR AID!"
Theoden: [stares at Aragorn for a few seconds and then...] *shrug*
This scene never fails to give me goosebumps. WE RIDE FOR GONDOR!
ОтветитьI just read about the origins of Rohan and Gondor’s alliance and man it makes this scene so much more impactful 💪💪😭😭😭
Ответитьi like the comments about rohan king be the shit im more of thinking the poor basterds on top of each frozen ass mountain freezing there balls off be the shit some of them looked very isloated and if u miss your step u falling a long way down kinda shit
Ответитьmy best friends name is Rohan. I'm safe. :)
ОтветитьThis is such a perfect f*ck you to Chamberlain and Daladier.
ОтветитьAmazon fucked up when a 3 minutes clip is miles better than that whole garbage
ОтветитьI love the look of the guards. "dude: we´re so fired"
Ответить"Muster the Rohirrim!!" Similar to the feeling when one hears "Release the Kraken!"
ОтветитьSo how fast does this signal travel?
ОтветитьEl internet sin gráficas altas
ОтветитьReason why rohan answers because Theodan knows its a king of gondar actually asking for help. Takes balls for any king to ask for aid
ОтветитьI remember this scene in cinemas, with the sound and visuals it felt surreal flying through those mountains.
ОтветитьEven though this will always be an incredible scene, I always wonder what the lives of the soldiers near the beacons are like, especially the ones that are way up the moutain. Where and what do they eat? do they sit near the beacon the entire day watching in the distance? what if the soldiers of one of the links was killed a while back and the chain gets interrupted? You start to think about the details of the world and I like that.
ОтветитьCan someone name the soundtrack played during the beacons scene
ОтветитьWhy is it with Lord of the rings you can always just watch a random scene, and it's like the most epic thing ever lol.
ОтветитьI'm amaze nobody slacking/sleeping on the job near those bon fire.
Ответить1. The White Tree is one of the greatest cinematic scores in cinema history
2. Imagine your job is one of the guys who’s whole job is to light the beacon, its never happened before but your whole jobs is to sit on top of the mountain and just wait for that light, EVERY SINGLE DAY. Then one day, BOOM the beacon is lit. Probably the greatest day of those guys lives.
If there is but one thing I wished from the trilogy, it was that Gondor wasn’t made to look the fool. Denethor was an ass, yes, but he was from the same line of men as Aragorn, a Numenorian, through and through. He sent the red arrow to Rohan. He had the beacons lit, calling for aid from western Gondor. The Gondorians, under his watch, withstood the siege for as long as they could with terribly depleted forces. The films glossed that over and made the Gondorians look like novices who barely knew which end of the sword to pick up, when they had heroes and great men of their own.
ОтветитьIt’s imposible for me to watch this whole sequence without feeling the creeps!!!
ОтветитьThey were like the Winged Hussars saving Venice.
ОтветитьBut if the distance is only about 500km, how come it's nighttime halfway through the messaging?
ОтветитьAint that the greatest scene of them all
Ответить
