Session: Skate Sim | ADVANCED TRICK GUIDE - Better Tricks, Easier

Not a skater. Tried as a kid and realized I am NOT coordinated enough or tough enough for it lol I love Session. I honestly can’t wait for the sequel. Yeah there’s a learning curve, but I think I got over the hump my first day playing. It’s honestly incredible how creative you can be in the game.

As someone who is a gamer but wanting to start skating irl, session is awesome (after the learning curve)

how do your late shuvs look so good. my game gives me the input name but the animation doesn’t change it just looks like my character does a weird late hippie jump

You should be playing on manual catch if you’ve spent so many hours on the game

The skater just looks so stiff to me in session.

I used to skate i’m 26 now so I really shouldn’t have stopped but I broke my wrist in a bad landing and have been sketched to Really skate since.

Session is amazing though I just finished my first part! Edited a bunch of replays some lines some solo tricks and strung them together in iMovie to my favorite song. And I’m so proud of how it turned out I might just upload it. I wish I had seen this video first though lol. I’m pretty new to the game but I’m picking it up pretty quickly

I used to skate, and just played this yesterday. It's forsure filling that gap better than skate or skatexl could. But using the triggers to turn makes doing lines almost impossible, I wish I could use the Dpad

Why does Skate XL suck so bad..?

I wouldn't call myself a skater, but I can skate. I have a handful of tricks I can do, but I'm a weekend warrior. I love Session. The pride you feel when you finally land the trick you've been trying and resetting over and over for hours is unmatched. And you watch the replay and it's not even that flashy, it's not a Skate 3 highlight, it's a real looking trick that means a lot to you because of how hard you pushed for it. Best skate game out there without question.

Session destroys all the other skate games out there. Skate 4 is gonna be a joke... arcade to the max. Skater XL is ok, but to me it looks and feels more janky than Session. They really nailed the skater essence here. I use to skate a ton when I was a kid, but not anymore cuz I dont wanna break myself lol

I’m not a skater, but I have to say the physics in session make me laugh so hard when I bailed normally if I lose in the game I’ll get extremely mad but in session there’s a calming relief but there’s no other players what time is

Did you change a setting allowing you to skate faster? Your guy seems to be going light years faster than what I’m able to do.

I skated some as a young teenager, but always been a big fan of skateboarding, skate culture, the music, all of it. This game is the most realistic I’ve ever played, and pulling off dark slides is super cool. The input mechanics work to make it feel like you are doing everything you would with your feet somehow. It’s awesome

I'm not a skater but I grew up playing skate 3 and honestly wanted a more up-to-date skate game, there's definitely a learning curve to this game from skate 3 but once you get a hang of it I think the session is a relatively fun game to play

Just got it today. It's hard af. But I'm enjoying the learning curve. I think it would be easier if I hadn't already played hours and hours of SXL.

I don't know what it is but I cannot go from one grind to another I'm doing the exact same thing you're saying to do in this video it doesn't seem to work starting to annoy me.

I used to skate a lot and really loving the realism of this one. Feels far more satisfying then a 10 bazillion THPS combo.

I was skateboarding a lot in the mid 90's early 2000's. I do like this game. I tried Skater XXL too but it didn't felt right for me. This game is still not finished but I can see what the devs are going for and I'm looking forward to the end product. I had so much fun with this one.

I attempted to skate in highschool, landed a kick flip maybe twice ever lol. But I was a huge fan of the skate game series and when I saw this game I initially didn't like it because of the board mechanics. But now it's the thing I love most about the game. I enjoy playing this game anytime I'm just relaxing.

I’ve been playing session for many hours now and just found out about these lmao. I just turn them on and they seem very buggy on my end, I have to hold both analogs down to do the Casper, the primos don’t work at all and I’ve tried just about everything, and the dark slides do indeed work and it’s great lol. But idk what I should do about he others

Yes started skating when I was 7 I’m 18 and I still love skating I tried out skater xl and then session and went back to xl and just didn’t like it so I’m going to stick with session

I loved Skate 3 and Skater XL but Session is just on a whole other level. A love letter penned by skaters for skaters. I love the challenge of flipped controls for switch and half-flipped for fakie. Such a great idea. I've sunk more hours into this game than a 30 year old should, but it's just pure joy. Teenaged me would have done unforgivable things for just such a game. I hope Gen Z doesn't take this gem for granted. Hopefully future updates include arcane boneless, fingerflips and hippie jumps, amongst other goodies.

I was a skater when I was 14. I stopped when I was 19 because I didn't have time too anymore but I've always loved skateboarding. I've tried to get back on a board last year but I have too many back problems now. When I played Session, I was so mad I pad 40 bucks for it cause I couldn't do anything. It was too hard. But I stuck with it and now Its one of my favorite games to play.
