Used Expedia to see what a rental would cost. If I picked up a Hyundai today and returned it 5 weeks from now (Pick/drop at Ottawa airport) the cost is 1280.... SO about 5 weeks in Canada for Foodie.

I think she thinks it's just an act but I think she's lost the distinction between what is an act and what is authentic behaviour and so far more is now her spiralling than she realises.

Very tired of this arrested adolescent acting even younger than her 15 yr old brain. I watch this video and, even tho I hold Chin's in the mildly interesting category, she is numbingly boring. Why does she not understand that the cost of the gifts is irrelevant?? Celebrating Christmas is haram, and she accepted Christmas gifts. I don't think that the rules say that its only haram to accept expensive Christmas gifts, but accepting inexpensive gifts is okay. She uses Islam as a shield when it suits her, like when she complained about the LCL hosts talking to a modest Muslim woman in a hijab so disrespectfully. But, most of the time, she is the one disrespecting the religion that she claims means so much to her. If she was serious about being the best Muslim she can be, she would have gratefully, and graciously, refused the gifts from her family. I guess this was just one more case of, "Oh, well, if doing that makes me a bad Muslim, then I guess I'm a bad Muslim." Because that's how people who are serious about their faith think.
I think that she was really upset in this livestream because she was being called out on things that she knows are true. She knows she shouldn't have accepted those gifts as a Muslim. And she tries to fight back by asking the people that questioned her about it if they got Christmas gifts. And what's wrong with Christmas gifts. Nothing, as long as you're not a practising Muslim who believes that celebrating Christmas is haram. She knows she's on a visa run, and is really upset that she's not fooling anyone, so every time she's asked about it or her marriage, which isn't a "real" marriage, she goes off on one because she knows that she's not pulling the wool over everyone's eyes. And, despite her "Oh, well" attitude, I think she's probably really worried about getting back into Kuwait, now that she has to apply in person, at the Kuwaiti airport, for her next tourist visa.

The reason visa runs are interesting is that she can’t be legally married if she’s in Kuwait on a tourist visa
