I felt the sound quality from the DJI in the HollyLand was better than the godox. In my opinion if I was making money doing audio video recording I would go with the DJI but just starting out and learning and having some fun I'd go with HollyLand .

that hollyland lark m2 sounds really good.

I imagine this is for the consumers Tina professionals, not sure how that would work on a cage set up.

The Godox sounds tinny compared to the DJI.

Hollyland Lark m2 has very interesting feature that I recently discovered.
You can plug 3,5mm to camera & at the same time if you have combo you can attach type C or Lighting port to Mobile, & audio will be recorded on Camera and on Phone as well..
This makes an Audio Backup just in case !!

Whoa! Godox nailed it. I hope Hollyland releases something similar to this too. I love my Lark Max and I don't wanna replace it.

Can the audio of the DJI mic 2 be recorded in 32 bit float when making use of the DJI adapter together with a Sony camera (ZV-E10 mark 1)?

Holly land sounds different (maybe better, better higher voice range) while the DJI & Godox sound pretty much the same to my older ears (68,) but not $200 better sounding, so unless I were to need the safety track, screen, magnets of the DJI (and I don’t, but my job doesn’t rely on any of that) or had a better budget (I don’t,lol) I’d have to go with Godox (unless Hollyland, is a better value with sound, features & price … which I don’t think was covered other than just sound?)

Based on this video the sound quality of GODOX is far inferior compared to DJI an Lark. on the other hand Lark is a bit crispier than DJI but, not quite reliable in professional scenarios. I'd feel safer with DJI when I'm interviewing someone I waited weeks to have an appointment with.

I think nearest for godox and hollyland is Sony ECM w2bt. But definitely Hollyland is one of my favourite.

I love the sound/size of the Lark M2. But the DJI just does more. Need discreet tracks from each person? No problem. Need to plug in to a sound system? No problem with the 1/8" mic input. Need a backup in case RF gets crappy? Again no problem.

Just super glue a small magnet to the small cloths pin thing. Then use another magnet on the out side of your shirt. Problem solved.

I am all about Godox mics lately... Got the movelink II, and the UMic 22 and love it. Fun to use, and the movelink II transmitter sounds really good for the money

Hi Mark, great work and all helping with our channel too! Quick question, the DJI Mic 2 sounds a little flat, unlike mine - I wondered if they were running the most recent firmware update! It made my DJI's sound significantly better!

It may just be me but I never had an issue with plugging in a short cable. They are extremely cheap and works with all mic interfaces

Dji's innovation is the reason why i went with their Mic 2 microphones. I love Rode Go-ii but DJI had me sold on the Mi hotshoe adapter. Its a huge game changer especially with my fx3. I can dont have to use an audio cable and i can keep the transmitter charging. Good to see that Godox went the same route with their wireless mics too. Rode needs to do the same on their future Go-ii mics or get left behind.

As of now, I am waiting for DJi or Sony to release a transmitter that can connect up to 4 wireless mics. 2 is not enough anymore especially when these mirrorless cameras can record in 4-audio channel.

The Holyland Lark is the best sounding microphone, followed by DJi and lastly Godox. Honestly a did not expect the godox to sound better as they never ask for a ton of money. You get what you pay for!

I have the DJI 1 - I dont see the need to upgrade but I like the sound of the Hollyland Lark though.
