Ive Never Watched Anime Before...and then I watched Naruto (FIRST TIME NARUTO REVIEW)

Naruto was my first anime I watched, at the age of 18 in 2016. I had watched very little movies and good cinema by that time. And now, I have watched lots and lots of anime and shows, naruto is still among my favorite. As you said in last minute of video, there are so many colorful characters in the show, and everyone can find some character to like or relate to, and the relation of naruto and sasuke, that's the strength of show

Its 2022 watching this on tv right after dbz had ending on toonami with bleach code G and death note on toonamie was what made saturdays special

Make sure you watch Yu Yu Hakusho and Cowboy Bebop in dub

If you liked Naruto and since you're enjoying Shippuden so far you might like Bleach i recommend watching it

Here is a suggestion

Other anime, each ranked compared to naruto in terms of: story, world building, character development, character progression, fight scenes, music, pacing, character likability, character relate-ability, animation, art style, emotional moments, and protagonist. Oh, and Length... just for cases of intimidation and concerns about starting it. All just so you can have an idea of what you are itching for, and feel like starting next. I will also give them a numerical score to compare them to naruto, and see if you still agree after, or before with my rating of naruto. I will also give a note on the side if necessary or to emphasize how much objectively better or worse than naruto... while trying to keep personal bias out of it, and not be subjective about my preference. A lot of people confuse character development for character progression. Development is how much a character is explored, and how much we know of his backstory, and how that ties in and makes sense towards his current standing personality in the story. Character progression is how much the character changes across his story, whether its power, mental state, or ideology standings.

Jojos bizarre adventure is pretty good and steins gate is also amazing

You should watch attack on titan it has amazing plot

If you want to watch one of the best classics Yu yu hakusho Is probably one of the best show's out there I would also recommend Dragon ball z kai mostly for the historic reasons as dragon ball was the originator of show's like Naruto heck Kishimoto even admitted that it was one of the inspirations for his series Kekkai Sensen is also a fun watch and much shorter than these other shows Also Afro samurai.

I could recommend One Piece as good reading material, but if that’s too much of a commitment I’d recommend Baccano as a great anime. Hell, Ladd Russo is prime material for a villain review.

Naruto is my all time favourite, rewatched it a million times. Also recommend Vinland Saga, only one season for now but already feels like a complete story with one of the best characters I've seen anywhere

Judging from what you've praised about Naruto it seems like you really enjoy dynamic character relations and fights with emotional stakes.

I recommend a little series called Fullmetal alchemist. Fma should give you what you liked about Naruto but in spades without 80% of the filler and a more multi dynamic world.

There is however one slight of fma...there are 2 versions of fma.
One from 2003 called Fullmetal alchemist and one from 2009 called Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood.

The 2003 series had a phenomenaly good first half (save for a few fillers) but a few problems with the 2ed half, brotherhood is phenomenaly great save for the first 8 episodes with are kind of meh.

Ideally you'd want to watch both starting with the 2003 series, but if you don't want to then
watch the first 13 episodes of the 2003 series (but skip episodes 4, 10, 11, 12) then switch to watching brotherhood starting at episode 6.

some of my favrioutes are Re:zero, jujutsu kaisen, attack on titan mob psycho 100, and monogatari series. check these out maybe seems like you would like these based on what you were saying about naruto

Since you started Naruto. I can suggest you My Hero Academia since it's very similar. There are a lot of differences too of course but I think you can enjoy it a lot.

For a different one I can suggest... Okay I'm sure you know this but Jojo. While there are a lot of memes it's like Raimi's Spider-man. Memes came from something that has a lot of heart.

There is also a genre called isekai witch mostly contains a character from a real world transport, reincarnate into a different world.

I can suggest something like Re:Zero for this genre if you don't like over powered mc's because most isekai loves to make their mc's way powerful.

There also comedies, slice of life anime's and all that weird stuff but I just wanted to share the ones I like.

Very glad you're getting into it my man, I went into anime recently as well and Naruto was the 2nd series I watched to completion. I think this goes without saying but you should do villain reviews on the many antagonistic characters in OG Naruto and Shippuden (when you finish Shippuden of course). I love hearing your take on the movie villains so I will definitely be staying tuned into hearing what you have to say for the Naruto villains.

The first arc of shippuden is slow, but man shippuden is sad and good asf! Just avoid the damned fillers

You want another good anime? I recommend Cowboy Bebop it's full of action and very much a lot of inspiration for the Mandolorian! But if you have already seen that then Full Metal Alchemist is pretty amazing.

I'm begging you here, please watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes. There's no fan service in it. The politics in it hits hard. Even season one alone will blow you away. It's super old, but it's fantastic.

I only just started watching Cowboy Bebop. The stories always seem very absurd too me, but I didn't think they were bad. I mean manga are selling much better than most big comic companies.
