I've been listening to the trilogy since 2014 and still love it to this day

Also thanks to all three songs i drew my own valkyrie character and i still have alot of bio or something to add to her as at one point she dose grab an item to gain more power to defeat a stronger foe that happeneds to be the mask of forbiddin darkness thus she ends up with a full armor and wings of a dark valkyrie similar to that of a fallen angel so i think i can clearly say this trilogy is by far my top fave saongs that even some of my old time classics and other somgs from back in highschool cant beat

The real question to all of this is who is fighting i know the valkyrie fought to save a person but it would seem she or the person in question was attacked and killed in the second song and the third one of them died maybe the valkyrie lived just barely making it through the fight though bloodied and beaten stands firm and strong but the person had to have died as the third song seems to imply that its the person who live and later died in battle after not saving eachother in the fight so then what happened here cuz im very cufused songs like this are really good

This Trilogy reminds me of Dota: Dragons Blood off of Netflix. Shit was so emotional, I still tear up from listening to this mix 7 years later. I don't know who else Varien could've gotten to sing these songs, but I'm glad they got the two singers that made this trilogy so beautiful.

i good remember . i dont know i have comment here or in monstercat YT. Im older of 7 years. This music was good for me. Now after this 7 years i understand this music. Varien is on of the best producer of emotion in music. Every single tear, every single steps, every blink. We can fell this all in his music. I was here on premiere, now im back, not the same feeling. I discovered this EP once again but in different way

I believe the song is about temptation slipping inside you, and losing the power you have because you would be listening to the temptation instead of yourself, and regretting that you listened to the darkness instead of the light of God, and vowing to follow his light and be rid of your sins. The flowers blooming in the darkness are sins that people seem to choose, unaware that they are bad, and because they committed them, their gift (power) is lost as long as they continue committing them, but our angels are still protecting us, no matter how far we stray, they will be there when in need. When you were young, you didnt know all that life could bring, so you wondered about the different things you could be, and found something, but that something wasnt good to follow, now you are unsure about yourself, and where you stand among God if he is fine with what you have done. Regretting what you did, you vow to yourself that you will bring your power (Valkyrie) back, and will not falter, no matter what happens to you. Every good thing your Valkyrie has done for you fills your mind, and you realize that is what you truly want, thus making you determined to bring them back and be free of the sins you have committed. They are your key into heaven and you realized it, now you are on your way to reclaim your spot back inside, no longer corrupted (regaining your sanity). And when you finally reach your goal, you are uncertain for a moment if you deserve it, but you understand and realize that you do, and give your worries to God. Your angel speaks to you, but you are uncertain where you must go next, so she shows you, but you are unsure about it. When the path you used to take was forgiven, you accept what you must do, thus granting you the eternal life promised to everyone. You look back on your life and wonder how long ago you suffered the pain of your sins, you would defend them to the point of war, now you roam earth with your purpose and filled with faith that no one can be rid of, free of your past. You have finally found your purpose, and will fulfill it with the gifts you were given.
Edit: don’t know if I got that part, but where it says “there’s a voice that is calling for me to go beyond”, it’s your angel telling you to better yourself, and allow yourself to go beyond and reach your gifts you have if you reach out for them. I hope this was a good interpretation

Holy fucking shit. Dude, imagine if you got Maria Brink on to do a 4th... (for those of you who don't know, Maria Brink is the lead singer of the band In This Moment, and her voice, just like Laura and Cassandra, are amazing. As a metal vocalist I feel like Maria's voice would actually fit well with the theme of the song. Actually, the more I listen to Cassandra's verses, the more it reminds me of Maria even... fucking hell, if Maria and Cassandra did a duet verse in a 4th song I'd completely lose my shit, I'll seriously shit brick is Varien sees this and makes it happen.)
