Democrats in the South destroyed America and caused bloodshed. Looks like they are trying to do the same in 2024.
Ответить"Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to
rise up and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits
them better. This is a most valuable, a most sacred right - a right which we
hope and believe is to liberate the world. Nor is this right confined to cases
in which the whole people of an existing government may choose to exercise it.
Any portion of such people, that can, may revolutionize, and make their own of
so much of the territory as they inhabit."

Yo
ОтветитьLincoln is no more a hero than a falling rock killing a murderer. Slavery is awful, but Lincoln didn’t really think so, he was more concerned with saving The Union. Originally, Lincoln was a Whig, a party that had a somewhat neutral stance on existing slavery, but transitioned to republican as a political move. He made disparaging comments about people of African descent often.
Ответить2024 is looking to be our 1860.
ОтветитьI miss when Republicans were progressive and "woke"

ОтветитьLincoln has to be the most protagonist person ever. You barely have to change anything in Lincoln’s story to make it as interesting as a good book or series. He had many enemies, he had many weaknesses, but his heart was in the right place for the most part.
ОтветитьAbraham Lincoln 1809-1865.
ОтветитьOne of the many fraudulent elections
ОтветитьLincoln was one of our finest Liberal presidents
ОтветитьDemocrats were for slavery
ОтветитьTrump is way better
Ответитьmy wife thought the Dems freed the slaves and honest Abe was a democrat l said you don't know history
ОтветитьBorn on the same day as Charles Darwin, one freed bodies, one freed minds.
ОтветитьHe must be properly spinning in his grave seeing the sorry state of the modern Republican party.
ОтветитьLincoln was homosexual. He shared a bed with a man for 4 years and his mother said at his funeral, “He was never that fond of women”
ОтветитьWe needed the union, and the union needed us. Slavery was a common thing in those times, even many union men absolutely hated blacks and wanted them to stay enslaved.
Regardless, God freed the slaves as he promised he would in the bible. He acted through Lincoln and saved us all as a country, brought us back together. "And he shall know, I Am The Lord."
If you ever want to know what a scumbag area the south was all you have to do is watch them in the video they would have done anything not to end slavery in the South even kill a white man
Ответить👍
ОтветитьI believe after this Lincoln never again would be embarrassed. He sadly should have kept bodyguards and history might have turned out different. He was too soft on his own protection and that was his demise.
ОтветитьBruh Daniel Day Lewis really set the standard for Lincoln with the high pitch western kentucky drawl accent
ОтветитьI have so much respect for this man. President while half the nation wants to kill you. Feeling the pressure for 5 years straight. I read that he had anxiety and had nightmares of his death until the very end. We see him as a historic figure...but he was a mere man like all of us. Yet, look at his impact thanks to his impeccable bravery. Long live Lincoln.
ОтветитьMORE documentaries like this, please!
ОтветитьA B R I H A M L I N C O N
ОтветитьThey always "forget" to mention that Lincoln only wanted the slaves freed so that they could be sent back to Africa.
Ответитьwhere can I see this entire documentary? where can I download?
ОтветитьFreedom to people that are different skin colours
ОтветитьRev John Brown was an abolitionist who said he would use violence to free the slaves and tried to. Abe Lincoln was an abolitionist politician who lied about his plan to use violence to free the slaves and freed them. Rev Brown was a man of God, and honest. Abe Lincoln was a politician, and a liar.
ОтветитьWhenever I am down, I watch Lincoln.
Ответитьdemocrats have not changed any thing but their narrative
ОтветитьNicolay would’ve never called Lincoln “Abe”, Lincoln hated the nickname and was always referred to by his secretaries as “Sir” or “Mr. President.” Even his cabinet members didn’t call him Abraham, they called him “Lincoln”. His own wife often referred to him as “Mr. Lincoln.”
Ответитьwhy does linoln have a irish accent?
ОтветитьTruly one of the best presidents ever
ОтветитьAnd today it's Republicans that want to secede and bring back the South...go figure...
ОтветитьLincoln was a real real president and a good man unlike sleepy Joe!
ОтветитьI wish they would of had the man who played Lincoln in the Grant Documentary play him in this one.
ОтветитьIt wasn't the cleanest time Period
ОтветитьWas Lincoln a Giant?
ОтветитьLincoln was obviously racist in today’s standards, which is a good thing to show how much progress we have made in our nations history. He wasn’t a perfect person as no one is, but when the time came he did what was right. He knew very early on privately that slavery was going to have to die, and he eventually took that step with the emancipation proclamation. Did it end slavery in the U.S.? No. The reality is though that the vast majority of slaves were freed by the proclamation so while he didn’t end slavery, he mortally wounded it forever. The 13th amendment was indeed the true death nail though.
ОтветитьAbraham Lincoln, good riddance to a tyrant!! 🤮
Ответить"We are not enemies but friends. We must not be enemies" . Abraham Lincoln.
ОтветитьGreat Video! My students enjoyed it
ОтветитьWell, well, well, so Abe has skeletons in his closet ! Black ones! It has now been documented & verified in a dusty box found in the Regenstein Library at the University of Chicago, Kevin Orrin Johnson PhD found Abraham Lincoln’s order to sell the slaves he owned!!
Yep! ‘Honest’ Abe was an owner of slaves, but he saw politics as his future and put his finger to the wind, ‘my slaves have to go’ and away they went!
Think the “woke” crowd will tear down the Lincoln Memorial? I would if I could!!
I love how he tells the guy to take care of the hat
ОтветитьWish god bring him back
ОтветитьThe South always said that it was not about slavery but it was about their rights and way of life. I asked what was their way of life that made slavery so inportant to them. It took me some thing like 20 years before I could put the the parts together. In 1600 England was a layered society, to them that was how the world worked. There were two main divisions:, on top was the aristocracy and the common folk, the working class. This class held tradesmen, merchants shop keepers, farmers, ect all the people who produced every thing the aristocracy needed. The aristocracy was dived in two sub classes peers, the king and barons, below them were the gentry, knights and squires. It was from this last class that most of the men (there were no women) who settled in James town. Now titles were inhered by the oldest son if no son then the oldest daughter the younger children got nothing so they had to go out and make their own way in the world. Once these men realized that Virginia did not have any gold they set about building a society the tried to recreate what they had in England. After the Revolution the supply of indentured servants dryad up so they relied more and more on slaves. What is ironic is the very system they created was dying in England and and by 1900 it was a thin shell of its self.
