I really wish I could do this with my dog Nahla but she doesn’t take or try to get treats because I taught her not to beg or do that type of stuff so she’ll just sit there while I hold my hand out with a treat in it and do nothing 🥲

I figured my dog was way too polite to claw at my hand, so when I shook my hand and made her excited about it she tried to play with my hand and that's how we now have learned paw! thanks for teaching me the basics so I could build on it <3

Or you can grab your dogs hand when they are ready to learn and then give the treat and say paw. Then just keep repeating this over and over until they’ve learned

1. Grab one of his favorite treats
2. Put the treats in your hand and cover the treats
3.after he got use to it have a command
4. “Paw”

Tysm my dog know how to pal with that but he just kept liking my hand but her learn but my other dog keeps biting me finger like ow but yea there shih tzu I have a light light brown one and a black that looks like a bunny he has white in the bottom he is the one who won the keeps licking my hand 🤚 and a white with brown so cute ☺️

Instead of treats my dog just gets belly rubz cuz I left the treats at home and plus she would just bite the holy jesus outta me

Guys paw is the worst trick you can teach your dog later on they will be bothering you for a treat by handing there paw to you

I do this but i also do

👊✊ (fingers face down, paw, fingers face up, paw, open hand w/ treat inside)

I have a better trick and it works for my 2 month old dog and you just tickle their foot and when they lift their paw you keep it in the air and reward your dog😊

One big drawback to teaching this, every time the dog wants a treat he’ll just come over and give you paw w/o you asking…
