HIMARS Firepower Will Be Upgrade, Range To Exceed 500 Kilometers

Our next-generation, long-range precision strike missile, called the Precision Strike Missile, was created specifically for the US Army. With the use of indirect fires supplied by missiles up to 499 kilometers away, this new surface-to-surface weapon system will be able to strike, neutralize, suppress, and destroy targets with improved capabilities. The Joint Force Commander benefits from enhanced missile loadout, lethality, range, and survivability thanks to PrSM. The effective running of fires in support of integrated Joint All-Domain Operations depends on these improved capabilities.
