What you Should teach to kids is the bible

What people fail to appreciate is that the majority of school kids historically have not done very well in school, Indeed, prior to the Second World War maybe 10% of the population attended college, and dropping out of high school was extremely common, as indeed many kids didn’t even begin high school. But then we reached a tipping point where it became unthinkable to even contemplate anyone getting less than a high school education. By forcing everyone to attend high school we are really encouraging mass rebellion especially when the various safety valves such as reassigning kids to industrial schools or going so far as to expell them have largely fallen by the wayside. A far greater percentage of kids need to be diverted into things such as trades apprenticeships where they are treated more like working adults.

I think I'm noticing that a good chunk of conservative black people are people who are tired or scared of the impacts of white privilege and have gone into some sort of denialism of the fact that it's still around, chosing instead to reframe reality such that all that scary sh*t is in the past and doesn't affect them anymore. Then it gets twisted when they try to rationalize their stance while aligning with the greater conservative structures.

Home schooling is indoctrination in my opinion. It deprives students from social and emotional growth and forces them into adopting the view point of their parent, who in most cases arent trained educators and who cant take their biases out of the lessions.

This was a brilliant debate!
Everyone calmly offering their own perspective and really listening to the opinions of the other people, very refreshing and uplifting to watch, as one of the panellists said, no ''bad guy" in the conversation.

If parents want to rule their child’s education with no formal training on that said education, then find a private school that aligns with those said values of ignorance or homeschool. If you send your children to public schools, YOU ARE PRETTY ORDINARY, NOT AT ALL WEALTHY, AND NOT THAT IMPORTANT IN THE WORLD. YOU ALSO ARE SENDING YOUR CHILDREN TO A SOCIALISTIC INSTITUTION TO SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO PUBLIC SCHOOL. I REPEAT, IF YOU SEND YOUR CHILD TO PUBLIC SCHOOL, YOU ARE AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT IN SOCIALISM. By the standards of capitalism you worship but yet, not have attained, you can’t wish your way to the Forbes richest list. Accept your place in life. Wrap your head around that, go forth, and accept the proper education for your child. Also historical times and lgbt stuff are the same? In third grade history we were learning about the emancipation proclamation and i was Abraham Lincoln in the play. Knew i was still a girl, just looked up to lincoln. Now a teacher would probably tell me i am trans since i want to play Lincoln in a play.

Teach real history not your version of it. Slavery was in almost every country. Not just america. Lets talk about how great the Irish were treated. I wish my teachers were still here. CRT was a theory. A college paper. College. College. College college. College.

Also lunch needs to not be one piece plastic wrapped items. We had real food. On trays. Not choices of only plastic wrapped junk food. Parents dont know about lunch either.

I'm white trash, I didn't get the same privileges as "normal" white people, though I got more than people of color or those with a disability . And this structure aka discrimination/bigotry came from the white community. Just like any same race community, biases or racism is still structured as a hierarchy within the community bc ultimately humans love a class structure with those lower than them to feel more superior. Sad but true.

Not everyone can afford homeschooling, and if families were given money to do so it’s no promise they would spend that money on the right things. My school was the safe spot for me growing up in poverty and in a high crime neighborhood. No way could my single parent could work almost 12 hours a day as a nurse then come home and home school me.

If I walked into my kids classroom and I saw that male teacher with that lipstick on. I would definitely take my kid out of that class. It is not the same as taking your kid out of the class because the teacher is black. That is racist. That’s not OK. By no means. A transvestite is not a race so doing That with a transvestite teacher is not racist and not the same. This guy is delusional.
