ОтветитьLet me explain . . . . .. because this video is not telling you ANYTHING.
First it is not a 12v battery but a 2.7v supply that will deliver a high current and the amount of current will depend on the resistance of the leads and the item you are powering. The capacitors will deliver a very high current but because the voltage is so low, the current may be 100 to 200 amps. That's because the leads have a low resistance but when the voltage is so low, even a small resistance will limit the current. You really need about 10v to 20v to get a high current to flow.
Because the voltage is so low, the current-flow when the leads are shorted together will be the about same for one capacitor or two or 5.
The only difference is this: With 1 capacitor, the high current will flow for say 1 second, with 2 capacitors the current will flow for 2 seconds etc. If you want to do spot-welding, you will want the current to flow for a length of time to heat the metal and melt it. That's why you need extra capacitors. On top of this you will need to build another bank of capacitors and put the two banks in series to get 2.7v + 2.7v = 5.4v so that the higher voltage will allow a higher current to flow.

ОтветитьWait. Ain't that still just 2.7 volts just upped the amps. Series would increase voltage which 5 would give u 13.5 volts which is perfect for a 12v car battery

ОтветитьHi nice video Bro, there are doubts I have a 2.7V 500F capacitor should give you 1350 Coulombs of charge and converting it to Amp Hr should give you 0.375Amps considering you connected them parallel 6 of them should give you 2.7V 3000F considering this also, you get 8100 Coulombs of charge and converting it to Amp Hr will give you 2.25Amps, how will you get 600 amps didn't understand dear Bro. ОтветитьE = 0.5 * 500 * 2.7^2 = 1822 J that is about half of one watt hour (3600 J) so this capacitor can only store half a watt hour. A decent lead acid battery you can buy for same price as two of these builds is 70 Ah or 12 * 70 equals 840 watt hour. Please correct me if I am wrong. How many of these units do you want to make?
