Looking back on it now…I’m glad I was right about who did it. Reading the context clues in everyone’s behavior made it easy but only because Ani likes to yap for so long

It sucks that someone died but when that someone ran a rape ring where he and his friends drugged and assaulted numerous women, went to court and lied with 0 remorse about it and got off with nothing and then destroyed someone’s future over his ex terminating the pregnancy that he caused non consensually, all while doing the most less than bare minimum effort to actually improve while still being a piece of shit, than I would say Zach and Alex did the right thing
You can’t redeem everyone because not everyone can change/be a good person

Ughhh this is what we all wanted to see happen at the end of S1. Instead the writers re-built his character to the point you feel sorry for him and then have Alex murder him in cold blood and Jess in the very unfortunate position of watching that. Very easy to put Alex and Jess in the same category because she didn't jump in BUT she also didn't push him in either and had a split second to decide to dive into freezing water to save her rapist. Not an easy call. I'd have loved to see her do it personally but it would have ruined the whole murder mystery thing of S3.

It’s sad the way Byrce died, he was my favorite character. At least Bryce never killed nobody, he just messed with them, but they just killed him.

IMO there's no redemption for what he did to not one but multiple girls. it scars people for life and can cause severe mental health issues

Whatever the reason Alex had no right, absolutely no right to kill people. Who the heck he thinks he is? What he did is as bad, or even worse than what Bryce did. I am not defending Bryce because what he did was terrible. But Alex let him die. He watched him dying. It is not normal.
Murder is a murder. And he should go to jail for that. In the whole serie they are claming "take your responsibilities". But because he decided he will do it it's ok to kill? When it's them who decide to kill it's the right decision? Rape isn't ok but murder is? You can murder whoever you wants because you have "valid reasons"? And they think they are better than Bryce at this point?? Tsss that's nonsense

The one death in the show that I liked. I even felt a bit sad for Monty, but Bryce really deserved that.

Y’all so weird in these comments… saying you stopped feeling bad for Bryce after he broke Zach’s knee.. he’s a rapist? No matter how you spin it, no matter how many prayers or rights he tried to put into the universe. He raped someone. He shouldn’t have anyone’s sympathy. No one’s.

Colossal shot in the dark (especially since I really only know the plot from commentary channels like YMS and PMI) but maybe Bryce realized that no amount of redemptive actions could undo what he did, but he didn't want to turn himself in and ruin his mom's life, so he set himself up to be murdered either by Zach or whoever Jessica would choose to bring with her (which ended up being Alex.)

Just seems kind of weird that he'd go to bad so hard for Tyler but then do a last minute heel turn and threaten Zach. More interesting to me if he just decided to let them have their revenge to give them some piece of mind.

Its shows how sad and screwed up Bryce really was…… everyone though he had everything but un reality he was as lost as everyone else, its a shame he started to try and make things right……. This show shows that everyone has their own shit going on from popular kids down to loners…… its not that people don’t care about what someone else is going through they just cant see past their own problems

I'm not surprised Alex initially turned back to help him, I HATE it but he sounds so broken and afraid it makes you feel sorry for him even knowing what he did. Now if I was jess, i wouldn't give a fuck I'm sure. But seeing him call out and beg, ughhhh the actor is amazing honestly.
