ОтветитьHes mesmerising 👏🏽👏🏽

ОтветитьKing in the river... oops! :D
ОтветитьI met Marlon last year in Melbourne randomly in a Chemist Warehouse, talked a lot about how we are both young NZ musicians on a parallel path but he is miles and miles ahead of me! If you're a fan of Marlon, I think you might like my music too :) Thanks!
Ответитьwho are the Pussy Warsers?
ОтветитьVoice is super similar to Timber Timbre
ОтветитьAy I cant wait for dude to get big here in the states. I share him with everyone I pass lol I just wanna see a concert here is all :///
Ответитьbrilliant¡¡¡¡
ОтветитьI know plenty of male singers and every one of them would love to have a voice like Marlon's.
ОтветитьGreat back up! Yarra Benders! Always love Marlon !
ОтветитьI once told Marlon his range is High Lonesome and he was chuffed - and he told me that 'young people' think he's named after a fish . .good kiwi lad. We're very proud of him.
Ответитьyou are all great, thinking of the people of NZ today, thank you
ОтветитьThe complexity and artistry of his music is brilliant. I always come back to this session. I always wonder if his shirt is an inspiration. If so, anyone know?
ОтветитьThis young man (Marlon) is a very, very talented musician. Thanks to Brokenwood Mysteries for introducing him, and others (like Delaney Davidson and Tami Neislon) to an American audience; outside of NZ and Australia.
ОтветитьWow! What session musicians. Totally, absolutely taken.
Ответитьwhat a great job listening to all that great music !!!
Ответитьwhat does it say on his tshirt?
ОтветитьThis guy is so fresh and different. I was hooked after hearing "What's Chasing You". Very fucking cool!!

ОтветитьHe fucked up miss lonesome on the second verse and had a bit or a laugh. Good stuff!
Ответитьfiddle/mandolin player is Dave Khan so good
ОтветитьOh gosh. That`s something fresh and touchi I`ve just discovered Marlon , form Artur Rojek, he invited him to Off Festival 2018. Original, for me kind of "oriental" singing. Looking forward to see concert on
July !
God damn... I'm obsessed
ОтветитьJust awesome!!!!
ОтветитьI love Marlon's music, but the electric guitar's tone, and particularly the ugly solo killed the song.
ОтветитьPussy Whippers Tee spotted!
ОтветитьHe either has very similar influences to Montreal's Timber Timbre or he's totally jacked his vocal style.
ОтветитьGoosebumps, chills… The whole lot!
ОтветитьBeautifully haunting vocals, reminiscent of Roy Orbison, Chris Isaak, Great songs <3
Ответитьawesome performance guys....good to see ya Dave ! :-)
ОтветитьWomad x
Ответитьdoes anyone know what sort of guitar that red electric one is? its a beautiful machine
ОтветитьSo proud of local Christchurch, New Zealand boy, Marlon, making good overseas. He trained with great New Zealand opera-singer, Dame Malvina Major, but decided to go down the country & folk road...He has the most amazing soulful voice for one so young. A true talent. May his star shine & rise high! :-) Go Marlon! Love & peace from home, down under in Aotearoa-New Zealand.
ОтветитьThat guitar player though
ОтветитьDark child is such a beautiful song
ОтветитьYou never get too old for good stuff. Marlon is for me. His self-effacing gentility of manner is seductive. He sings to express rather than to impress. He is tender and melancholic and accepting of human imperfection. His voice calms and uplifts.
ОтветитьElvis meets Jeff Buckley and Marlon comes off the best!
Ответитьanyone know what the guitar is the dude in white plays the solo on in Dark Child?
ОтветитьMarlon delivers.
Ответитьvery marissa nadler like, i love it! he's from just outside my hometown, opening for springstein next year!
ОтветитьSaw him at the Austin City Limits festival 2016. Knew nothing about him beforehand. Concert made me feel suspended between a David Lynch movie and a Ghost of Marty Robbins show. Unreal voice. Side note: two members of Pete Yorn's band were beside me at the ACL show. They were just about to go onstage but had to check out Marlon!
ОтветитьThe Best of New Zealand!!!!! <3 Tihei mauri ora
ОтветитьSensacional! Amazing band!
ОтветитьSeeing them Oct. 7th at the Biltmore in Vancouver, BC. Excited!
ОтветитьSaw them last night in Chicago and it was the best thing I have ever seen in my life. They got really into it
