Love doing things with my hands! Great helpful video
ОтветитьYou are so handy. I just love listening to your accent.
ОтветитьA fresh compression fitting should not need any plumbers mate or ptfe tape, however if the fitting has been opened for what ever reason, what you said is totally correct. But I use neither of those methods. I use loctite 55 or loctite 577. It works a treat. I strongly recommend it. Oh and get urself a olive cutter dan, saves a lot of hassle when your pipe work is in confined spaces and a junior hacksaw cannot be used. Keep the vids coming dan, very useful. 👍
ОтветитьYour videos are great
Ответитьgreat video
ОтветитьIs there a website to order one of those compression fittings for 1/2 in to 1/2 in pipe, cant find it here in U.S.?
ОтветитьReally informative and thorough. Cheers!
ОтветитьThis is helpful.
ОтветитьMy problem is coming from a joint on a copper pipe that connects to the bathtops
ОтветитьGreat video thanks!
ОтветитьHi Dan, great informative vids! Quick question, Ive got a 15mm ballofix isolation valve to our toilet that has failed. When I change it do I need to replace the original olive too or can that just be left in place?
ОтветитьThanks! Since I had the tape handy used method number two.
Worked like a charm and cheapest! :)
brilliant video
ОтветитьIf you are putting the compression fitting/ isolation valve in a pipe, is there a method to knowing how much pipe to cut out?
Thank you for taking the time to post this, will be so useful.
R sharkbites any better?
ОтветитьYes but how do you get the play on the pipe to withdraw it from the fitting you are replacing?
Ответитьthank's for the saw hack!! :)
