If we had the full song in the movie I wouldn't doubt how much better the Hobbit trilogy would've been
ОтветитьThis was utterly Glorious
ОтветитьI always teared up big time with all the brilliant work poured into this epic saga love it so much along with my children whom have enjoyed it so very much as well. 👍👍👍
Ответитьput yourself in the dark, the video which takes up the entire screen of your mobile, and you have the impression of being with the dwarves at the reconquest of Erebor
ОтветитьThe mountains are old and they are grey but they have not forgotten about durin
ОтветитьHobbit: an unexpected journey is amazing and pulling; Hobbit:the desolation of the smaug was even better; however five armies is where it felt apart. Plot ran short sonwas filled with unexpected lengthy bagtle scene and lathargic cgi fught battles.
ОтветитьThese songs are all in my register so it's really soothing to just read the lyrics and sing along to them late at night by myself. Always come back to it every now and then
ОтветитьIs there a cd? I always wondered what hapened to a wonderful concept
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьI keep coming back to this, year after year.😊 Kid me remembers the dialogue from Bakshi, and I really like how this was put to music. I also REALLY like that Durin's song was dropped into tbe middle of it. In weird ways, it reminds me that their world isn't REALLY that old, sometimes, and I like to imagine standing in a place where the first Dearf, effectively, also once stood.
Ответитьare the clips all from the Hobbit? I don't seem to remember some parts! Amazing cinematography, composition, and vocals though!
Ответить❤
ОтветитьCan someone tell me what genre of music this would be classed as? want to search for more thank
ОтветитьA birthday gift from my mother. An inspiration that changed my life. The Lord of the rings from J.R.R. Tolkien.
ОтветитьI listen to this while sitting on my boat alone in the ocean watching the sun set, waiting for the day I can finally weigh anchor and sail into the unknown….
ОтветитьIs this overlapped with the actors singing the first short bit of poem? And then the rest of poem is sung by these musicians.
It’s gorgeous. ❤
Beautiful Version. You really captured my imagination!
ОтветитьListening to this song, I remember about nice things which I experienced in the past and which are over...
ОтветитьIn the past, the misty mountains cold.
ОтветитьFar over the misty mountains cold
Ответитьall scenes and music - we never forget , thank you
ОтветитьThe accents add a little spice and the song benefits greatly from it.
ОтветитьAwesome version of the novel Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold! I honestly would've loved your version be in the movie!
Ответитьplease enable auto subtitles, or better yet add human generated ones
ОтветитьI spent my childhood in a house at the edge of a pine forest on the shores of the Baltic sea. My big brother with whom I lived there has always been a nerd, so it was always about fantasy and medieval atmosphere. We went to the woods, would come up with cool maps and legends of fictional worlds and of course I've watched all the movies on the Lord of the Rings 5 times over. I remembered those times we sat late in the evening with nothing but a dim warm lamp as I looked out into the dark pine forest hearing the howling of dogs (or maybe even those were wolves) and the cawing of crows. That feeling. That sense of distant great and wanderous something, not bright and full of joy, but neither dark and cruel... That feeling of something great and cold, something universal and so absolute that you seem insignificant in the face of it. This song is one of the few things that pinches those of my nerves that let me once again remember vividly that feeling. When I hear it I once again stand at the window gazing into the Estonian white night and see a raven sitting on the tree branch... cawing.
ОтветитьAnyone knows who is singing?
ОтветитьEverytime i listen to this music, the entire LotR movies, and books are running through my head... No other franchise/music has that ability... This is a unique experience..
ОтветитьThe Hobbit films have many issues this song is not one of them. Your cover is great !
Ответитьthis made me homesick for a place ive never been and doesnt exist
Ответитьpeople evolved in Africa, from one common ancestor, a couple hundred thousand yrs ago Over time, some people walked out of Africa and spread across the world. The branches of the family that spent thousands of years in colder places without a lot of sun … eventually they lost much of their melanin and turned a bunch of different shades, depending on the conditions where they were.
… the king of Portugal had hired Zurara to write a biography of the king’s uncle – Infante Henrique … better known as Prince Henry the Navigator -1st major to exclusively enslave & trade continental
Writing in 1453, Zurara chronicles & glorifies Prince Henry’s voyage, a decade before. In describing resulting slave auction back in Portugal, in 1444…Zurara lumped together different-looking captives
So Zurara portrayed slavery as an improvement over freedom in Africa, where, he wrote, “They lived like beasts.” They “had no understanding of good, but only knew how to live in bestial sloth.”
Zurara’s writings were widely circulated among the elite in Portugal…& their ideas about continental Africans…led the way as human trade expanded among west Asian countries like Spain France & England
slave traders commissioned the invention of this sort of codified racist idea, of Black people and implicitly, then, on the other hand, of White people - out of pink-beige west Asian Africans - in usa
In 1682 … the first legislative body in colonial America The Virginia House of Burgesses passed a law limiting citizenship to Europeans - making all non-Europeans – “Negroes...”aka in English "BLACKS" as the law put it – quote, “slaves to all intents and purposes.” the 1682 law included the first documented use in the English-speaking colonies of the word “white” [vs English European or Christian] to describe [brown to lightest pink-beige west Asian Africans aka Europeans] considered full citizens. the defamation against [descendants of mt-MRCA] darkest brown to lightest pink-beige "black" is FUNdamental to Racism.
Racism is racial prejudice that has been incorporated into the activities and procedures of major institutions, corporations, social systems (such as those related to housing, education, and health), and other arenas of major social activity (such as politics, the media, finance, and banking) Racism serves both to discriminate against ethnic minorities and to maintain advantages and benefits for west Asian Africans colonial government invented "White" Americans mt-MRCA

I have re-read the books of JRRT over and over and will continue to do so until my time has come.
ОтветитьI could hear this song over and over again.
ОтветитьSomething Tookish awakes inside you.
ОтветитьThe biggest disappointment for me about the Hobbit movies is they don't have the whole song from the books and shorten it to less than a minute.
ОтветитьThese movies are so underrated I mean it’s the hobbit, the original book itself wasn’t exactly what I would’ve call epic.
Ответитьимба!
ОтветитьCan someone make this a karaoke version. I got family members to troll
ОтветитьEpic song!
ОтветитьSuch an emotional video...as someone said, this is not just a song, it is a love letter to Tolkien and his unrivalled genius. Hail to the proud race of Dwarves! Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu!
Ответить🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤!!!!!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤!!!!!
ОтветитьIs there a looped video of this
ОтветитьI bet these mordorhers really struck those bells with hammers for authenticity.
Ответить20 minutes of pure emotion !
ОтветитьIn a word: Glorious!
ОтветитьMy favorite part of 'Durin's Song' was taken out of this.
ОтветитьHard to say what Tolkien would of said, But i feel this would of brought a smile to his face.
ОтветитьGot shivers watching this, good ones
