People simping for the IAS officer have never interacted with one. They are the laziest most arrogant most corrupt people in the country. Atleast the politicians have to answer to the public sooner or later but the civil servants answer to no one. I met plenty of people preparing for civil exams in my youth, and the whole goal of these people was to work hard for a few years ina school and spend the rest of their lives doing nothing, which is what most IAS IPS officers do. If you've ever interacted with the Indian bureaucracy, you will know this to be true.

The Mayor should focus on improving roads of mathura which are filled with potholes.

Mayor is admitting his mistake, but I pity those morons clapping for IAS officer, these officers are no less than politicians when it comes to common man, they don't treat them as even humans, politicians are required to keep bureaucrats in check who enjoy enormous power with no accountability, there are innumerable instances where these so called educated officers don't give damn to common men .

Most of our politicians have hyper inflated ego , so have these bureaucrats, they both behave in very uncivilized manner with common man , the so called educated officers too are very uncivilized when it comes to common man.

Every civil servant should aspire to be in politics after a period of time. They're educated, more experienced in public dealing, pressure handling. At least, the basic framework of the country will be saved. 🙏

Constitution should be amended an only ias officers or at least well educated people should become ministers

Why can't they both work together in harmony as one team? If printing some more faces would reduce friction, then why does the officer feel humiliated by just getting the brochure vetted by the politician. Passing a tough exam shouldn't inflate the ego of a person that he starts thinking a less educated isn't worthy of being in the same team. Both have been appointed to serve the public. They should leave their egos aside and work together.

An IAS officer in stature is almost equivalent to MP/State minister(MLA). A Mayor is a corporator. If IAS is vengeful he can literally crush the Mayors reputation in public. Also IAS will surely be promoted to Secretary level in state & then in centre. Mayors path is a lot difficult politically. At the end of their careers this IAS will be supremely powered& mayor not so much. Mayor should think twice before insulting an IAS
