What happened to Beats by Dre?

The way this is laid out reminds me of those spores that slowly consume an insect and takes over their minds to effectively for the insect to kill itself so that the spores can continue living and spread. Very easy to see where I'm coming from here. Apple are the spores, Beats is the unfortunate insect.

Over 10 years I've done video to countless dozens of DJs. Never saw a one wearing Beats or Apple headphone. Ever. Mostly the usual pro cans, Phillips, Sennheiser etc.

I had beats in 2010 and they were the biggest turds ever. Quality control was awful. Just got a new pair 14 years later and I’m fairly impressed.

When I seen people wearing them around their neck just for style, and fashion not on their head I thought that this was something new. The way they market it beats headphones was amazing.

I just saw the new beats studio earbuds and i thought they were fakes like replica beats and i only realized they were genuine when i saw apple written on them. Its like apples making knock off looking headphones. Like i swore they were fake the logo looks like 6 more then a b but they are genuine beats i still haven’t tried the sound quality yet im currently listening the this video on my senheiser so they have alot to compete with

I’m currently looking for a set of headphones that has 85-100 db (decibels) and aren’t junk. Does ANYONE have any suggestions for Me??? The ONLY reason I’m asking is because I recently purchased a Sony CD Radio/CD Player. And the headphones I already have which are Skullcandy’s play great whenever the radio is on but the second I turn on the CD the volume is extremely LOW and there’s no way to turn it up so I can actually drown out everything else (noise) in the room.

Like in 2020 my mom bought me fake beats on the street market damm the bass was so high used it for 2 years then smth in it broke bc i dropped it it was better than normal beats

Would be interesting to see an update now the Studio Buds, Studio Buds + and Studio Pro are here. I really think Beats have entered an exciting new era, like a more fun little brother. The Studio Buds compete directly with AirPods but in a more sound focused way. Sound quality is way up and you get noise cancelling at a price Apple can’t offer.

You know what’s funny? In 2023, Apple is the number one headphone manufacturer in the United States. Beats is number two. Beats aren’t the fashion statement that they use to be, but they are still relevant. They are basically acting as The AirPod line “SE” line.

Beats died because products survive on quality not hype and beats was nothing but hype.

Filled the gap?? what gap ?? good quality headphone s have been around since the 70's and even when beats came out there were tons of great-sounding headphones for a fraction of the cost of beats. Beats died because people finally woke up a realized what a ripoff they were.

I feel attacked for loving Beats lmao. The bass in them is perfect for me, and I’ve used pairs of audiophile headphones before. I enjoy the style of beats.

What would happen? They always sucked. Beats by Dre where never audiophile, musicphile or even audio enthusiast headphone, but they where always lifestyle and fashion headphones and that is prefect fine. They didnt even market them self as anything else other then lifestyle and fashion headphones
