From my feeble memory I thought Croatia was in the world cup final 2022 and they lost to France 4-2 ??? That would make them 2nd NOT 3rd... Croatia came 3rd in 2018 I think🤔🤔🤔

It’s very interesting to think that Croatia were the equivalent of the 2018 Belgium in this tournament.
They faced the same team twice in the Group stage and 3rd place playoff. Belgium in 2018 played against England in the group stage and 3rd place playoff. While Croatia played Morocco twice. They then faced Japan in the round of 16. They were down but then bounced back to knock them out. They did the same thing as Belgium there. They then played Brazil in the quarterfinals just like Belgium did. They then lost in the Semifinals to the World Cup champions. Then they get 3rd just all like Belgium
