I’ve been flirting with moving from Apple for years and always had a soft spot for OnePlus, the 24 ultra looks great but at £1349 vs this at £899 and the 15 Pro Max being £1399 for comparative storage. I think I may finally make the jump Apple and Samsung have priced themselves out of my budget.

All is well but as a previous OnePlus user, I never understood why OnePlus releases phones with sub-par camera tuning/software. Their cameras get great updates over the coming months but at that time, all the reviewers moved to other phones and have forgotten about the OnePlus model released at the beginning of the year. Shame really, cause I really like the brand.

In your opinion, is the Oneplus 12 worth it compared to the Pixel 8 Pro? As I found an offer for the Pixel and I could get it for 700-750€, it would be cheaper compared to the OnePlus

Goddamnit, I've used a OnePlus phone and honestly this seems like a great option. Wish I could've cancelled my Samsung S24 Ultra order to buy this hunk of a phone. Better battery, fast charging, OS features, even the design of that green colour is absolutely top-end.

Ps how does the camera compare against the one plus open camera ?

I was an out and out one plus user but had a bad experience with my 8t so switched to Samsung s21. Really missing one plus coz of its battery life. This is on my list for sure. Should I go for the 12 ?

The creative team was flown to New Zealand to look at rivers, oh damn!!! damn, even with the best cooling system for a non gaming phone that snapdragon 8gen 3 is hot. Should have been on 3nm tbh.

In my opinion, a new smartphone Era has just begun. The AI-Phone. For companies who cannot deliver AI features it will be hard to compete on specks only, as the average consumer doesn't care and even doesn't know about. Some of you will say "I don't need AI features" and that's fair but also that what the media talks about and that the real novelty with a "wow" factor. Not a screen with 4000 nits....
