My own GOG Affiliate link for Blade Runner (original, not the remaster) on GOG store dirt cheap: https://adtr.co/4Oeu7l Every purchase helps out the channel!

NOTE: PLEASE TURN ON THE YOUTUBE SUBTITLES, they aren't good coz they're generated, but that's gonna have to do, it's a requirement, trust me.
Full game longplay of the Blade Runner, a point'n'click adventure game, developed by Westwood, creators of Command & Conquer, released in 1997 for Windows PCs. The story line is intertwined with the move of the me title, though it plays out to the side of it, like some other person's perspective. Unfortunately it's not an Enhanced Edition, as it's been apparently delayed indefinitely. :(

Thank you everyone for watching, and I encourage you to consider hitting that Like button if you liked my path/the game/quality/whatever, and subscribing to the channel too, for more retro/classic content that I love most in the world!

Set in 2019 Los Angeles, the game tells the story of Ray McCoy, an elite detective charged with hunting down a group of dangerous replicants (bioengineered androids designed to look and act like humans). Although several of the film's characters appear in the game, with some of the original actors returning to voice them, the film's protagonist, Rick Deckard, does not appear in a speaking role. Instead, he is referred to on multiple occasions, is seen several times, and his activities as depicted in the film are mentioned.

It belongs to the rarest type of games: a movie-based game, that doesn't suck a d***. Whole magic of the movie is exactly right here, in the game. I absolutely loved it, although with some caveats, one being a grave one for an adventure game. Dialogues are sometimes "useless", they don't add anything, they don't mean anything. It's just some babbling that you won't get anyway. AND to top that, you don't get the subtitles in-game. I probably missed half the dialogues by simply not understanding them. The other is, well I shouldn't be complaining about graphics in a game from 1997, but in close-ups the pixeliosis is too strong even for me, a Dreamcast/early windows fan.
There are a few endings I believe, it depends who the replicant is, and which one survives, and that changes EVERY game, it's completely random generated basically. Non-linearity in a 1997 adventure game? Well, colour me surprised but hell yea. [SPOILER BEGINS] In the end I chose the path of not being able to sympathize with you-know-who, tho I did grant them some favours. It was at just the end that I made my decision. [SPOILER ENDS]
