Todd...the soundtrack of my life. Fifty years later and it still hits that spot

ОтветитьSo damn talented!
ОтветитьLove this list❤
ОтветитьCame here from watching sex & the city.
ОтветитьFor whatever reason, this song has long reminded me of "Steppin' Out" by Joe Jackson. Not sure why really.
ОтветитьThank you Todd
ОтветитьThank you Todd
Ответитьmusic from his soul in a nutshell!
ОтветитьHe always reminded me of a cross between Bread and Tom Petty. He was sang from his soul, a beautiful realm to hail from 🙏 ❤
ОтветитьMr Big bought me here😢
ОтветитьOddly I do not think of a person, but rather my hometown when I first listened to this song. Guadalajara. I’ll be seeing you soon….
ОтветитьCuantos recuerdos me trae escuchar a TODD, recuerdos agridulces, agradables de mi juventud ya lejana. 🎼⌛⌛⌛⌛⌛⌛😥✔.
ОтветитьIt's a good spell ...with just the right amount of love ....with a touch of melancholy....makes for a relaxing spell just perfect for a lonely autumn day keeping you just in the middle of extreme emotions
ОтветитьTodd is so much more than this song! But I still love it!
Thank you Todd!❤
Thank you Big❤
ОтветитьTod is just
Ответить😍🥰🤩♥♥♥
ОтветитьThis song describes what my life feels like. I love it ..deginitely pulls out tears.. 😢
ОтветитьI'm here because this was one of the soundtracks to my own life in the '70's. No stupid tv series that steals all of our great music of the '70s is responsible.
ОтветитьBeautiful song. Love Todd
ОтветитьLove this list !!! 🥰
ОтветитьMy Pop would blast this and had his microphone hooked up to his sacred stereo with his holy speakers 😅but man what I would give to hear him singing along with a Heineken in the other hand❤ RIP Don Carlos
ОтветитьNever heard of Todd until I heard him mentioned on “That 70s Show”
ОтветитьHere I go again!
ОтветитьMeu Deus, quando ouço essa música me transpoto da Terra para outro mundo.Musica mais que já ouvi!!!
ОтветитьHaha
Who brought me here 😂❤️
Nobody writes such melancholy, heart wrenching songs like this anymore. The minute songwriters today feel any kind of pain, they'd rather smoke weed or drink or do drugs and end up writing a "feel good" party song rather than explore the dark places this song goes into.
ОтветитьI will never get enough of the music created in the 60's and 70's. I'm 58 yes old and I listen often to the creativity at that time.
ОтветитьI don't think there has ever been a better one-two punch on an album than Hello It's Me and I Saw The Light.
ОтветитьEpic 😮😮😮
ОтветитьTodd Rundgren - Hello It's Me Lyrics:
Hello, it's me
I've thought about us for a long long time
Maybe I think too much but something's wrong
There's something here, doesn't last too long
Maybe I shouldn't think of you as mine
Seeing you or seeing anything as much I do you
I take for granted that you're always there
I take for granted that you just don't care
Sometimes I can't help seeing all the way through
It's important to me
That you know you are free
'Cause I never want to make you change for me
Think of me
You know that I'd be with you if I could
I'll come around to see you once in a while
Or if I ever need a reason to smile
And spend the night if you think I should
(It's important to me) me
(That you know you are free) free
'Cause I never want to make you change for me
Think of me
You, you know that I'd be with you if I could
Come around to see you once in a while
Or if I ever need a reason to smile
And spend the night if you think I should
(Think of me, think of me)
(Think of me, think of me)
(Think of me, think of me)
(Think of me, think of me)
(Think of me, think of me)
(Think of me, think of me)
(Think of me, think of me)
(Think of me, think of me)
(Think of me, think of me)
(Think of me, think of me)
(Think of me, think of me)
(Think of me)

My two young adult sons have moved out and now I'm an empty-nester. It's harder than I thought it would be. I heard this song on the overhead at work the other day and started crying at work. Because I was thinking of how the lyrics could kind of fit to a mom thinking about her kids moving out. "It's important to me that you know you are free." Anyway I started crying at work and that kind of sucked, lol.
Ответить1976,, workin at the Car wash,,The best of times,,the freedom to chose,,The music played everywhere,,and the warm summer nights of laughter and fun and summer loves and fast cars and guys in speedos,,
ОтветитьI brought myself here😅
ОтветитьTo my son.....27yrs away from each other over a woman that u divorced, so where r u?
ОтветитьMemories. Junior year of college. This was on the music mix at my frat house when I told my smart, pretty girlfriend it was time to start seeing other people. She did not take it well. Saw her years later at Homecoming, and she still looked great! We are indeed stupid when we're young.
ОтветитьMe transporta em el tiempo. Sencillamente bella cancion de este grande de los 70s Tood Rudgren
ОтветитьQue recuerdos. 😢
Bella cancion
Is that Liv Tyler?
ОтветитьBrings me back to my first love in 1973. Brings back pleasant memories of two young people in love.
