Realy miss the Hunters,lickers,chimeras,tyrants they where the most iconic part of Resident evil. This and res.7 feel more like a separate Timeline with no Connection/continuation to Resident evil 0-6. And Chris Redfield feels Still so just Insert for fan service here.

One thing i always don't like about these games is how you find supplies in crates, box, vase, or open a drawer and theres a box of ammo inside. Don't make sense, it feels more natural if they just let the mc search inside a house and theres a hidden armory and he grab like 10 boxes of ammo from there and it have to last him till the next weapon store he finds. Basically give the mc a huge amount of supplies all in one place instead of boxes here box there, inside a closet. Feels more natural to have 10 20 boxes of ammo in an armory than laying around in weird places.

Those movement too artifical and unnatural, i get it you want to make it look smooth like movie, but it still game and its annoying to see those movement so slow.
