When I was a kid I worked at a retail drug store and noticed the store manager who was a really cool guy having a bad day and was talking to him and he told me that he was pretty much in this situation with a woman and she recently demoted herself down a position because she realized if she made less money a year she would actually get more money in child support/alimony net overall. So she DEMOTED herself! And that meant he now has to spend even MORE money a month on all this. Very dirty, the system should be actively aware of things like this. This isn't the 1800s anymore, women work even in the corporate world. I don't think any man with sensibility would ever do something like that, maybe some total scoundrel loser types but it seems like a VERY common theme with women.

Im a retired police chief.
I NEVER hired a female police officer. They can be useful in jails.
