What the Hell Happened to Prototype?

Just start playing Prototype 1 again today and man its still so much fun. I would love it so much if Prototype 3 with a new gen graphics comes out.

This was my shit when we never had Spiderman on PC. Dear god if they made a protoype 3, I'd be filled with joy.

Prototype was my favorite watching the military kill zombies simulator.

The sequel failed in the same way the last of us part 2 did as well. They take a beloved protagonist and pin them as a bad person and kills them. How is this fun??

ya know, when I finally got my Steam Deck way back when (lol) as I scrolled through the 100s of games I own on PC I found myself drawn to install a very select few to "test" the new hardware.
Those games were Prototype 2, BLUR, and Vanquish. I distinctly remember downloading 3 of my favorite games from a certain period in my life and just being stoked to take those on the go, anywhere. Prototype 2 was far from perfect but IMO it deserved to live WAY more than Infamous did.

Yeah, I could see why they didn't make a prototype 3. Because they have to let some people go.

We will be waiting to buy prototype 3 if it ever comes to show our support

If people buy the gave in bulk millions of gamers of around the world it will come back

I loved prototype when I was still a young adult, was excited for the second one, as well as the infamous game, I hope one day that these games can come back, because they kind of did leave a nice cliffhanger for us after Heller killed Mercer

Lay off is the worst thing to happen. It shows why the story went south, I wish the original writers and the devs come back to give a satisfying 3rd installment. But I can dream.

Not a fun game. Horrible mechanics, overwhelming amount of power given to certain enemies with already overwhelming amount of enemies around you. Frustrating and annoying. I remember this game being so fun. Maybe this version I’m playing isn’t the same? I don’t know but it sucks so far.

So in other words that developers after the whole thing just sell out and like to make more money with stupid projects and making kids dumber figures when it comes naturally makes something good they decided I just want money faster, pathetic. I guess colleges cantered people into bigger aholes than the government.

I had this on PC at the time. Ran like absolute dog poop and they did not patch it. One of the worst PC ports I've played of an otherwise enjoyable game (at 5FPS).

All I've ever wanted was a modern day Superman game thats optimized for thenew consoles. I've enjoyed Prototype 1 and 2 for years now as a Superman substitute, I hope that with Microsoft buying Activision they revive it, I never played with the claws or blades or hammerfists, just bare-handed to seem like Superboy or Superman. It always irked me that I couldn't jump higher/farther or run faster or dash toward someone while on the ground. But yeah, if the revive it I might actually break my no pre-order rule.

Honestly I would prefer a fully remastered/remake of the first two games with next gen tech, than a sequel.

Alex Mercer was such an interesting character to play and get to know as you played the game. When I think of this game and the parkour mechanics and all of the abilities at your disposal it was absolutely fun. The only problem I have with this game is that the missions get a little too similar and after a while you just feel like you are on massive repeat and ready for the ride to be over. That being said I am not disappointed with the game I have never played the sequel but I would be willing to play a third installment if the chance ever presents itself.

PLEASE I WANT PROTOTYPE 3 !!! I BEG U all PLEASE Do something and make them hear our cries! Prototype game is so awesome and it was best game i ever played!
