I went to a RUSSIAN TRANSPORT EXPO: Comtrans 2023

I'm from Nizhny Novgorod myself and I lived my whole life right next to Kirovskaya metro station (and therefore the main entrance to the GAZ factory) and I happened to work there for 1 month in February-March of 2022 and then October-November 2022. The second one period was hilarious. We were assembling ambulances (GAZelle next and Sobol next) and the absence of f given by those designing these vehicles is astonishing. We had to use conical drill bits every time to make holes in OSB for floors like for EVERY vehicle, because some lazy guys in white hats were walking through assembly lines with serious faces and notepads in their hands, instead of actually fixing their CNC machines which cut the OSB, even after being told they are doing complete bs.
The guys I worked with (I was 21 years old at the time) are on average older than 40 and were the most fun people I've ever worked with.

Yes more convention videos, car meets, truck shows,,, they just don't have any of these street cleaner trucks in the USA,, Russia really cares about its country and it's people..

Have not seen any city buses in the USA with seat belts and with such cushy seats. And that panoramic view and USB charging,, the more I see a Russia the more advanced their society is....

There are so many camper fans in Russia that are personally made. Also Kamaz are makimg so much of camper trucks and also trailers thru privet company. Also there is lada granta RV and Niva RV and Ural RV trucks. Check it out! And many more custom made

In the Netherlands we have had USB in buses, trams and trains for more than 10 years

Indeed, the production and operation of campers is not so developed in Russia. But the fact that GAZ produces the only model in the country is not true. Maybe it really is the only large automobile plant that serially produces campers, but there are a lot of small private companies that produce campers based on ready-made cars or camper trailers. Of course, this cannot be called mass production, but in principle, anyone can find a camper for traveling according to their needs and at any price.

USB in our trams, newer trains and, I think, some busses. This is in Luxembourg. Never had to use them, journeys tend to be short hereabouts😊

Can confirm some of these buses are really common everywhere in Russia. They are easily recognisable by the design of the seats. I don't remember how long has it actually been, but i recall riding one as early as 7 to 10 years ago in Yekaterinburg. These ones might be improved compared to what was back then, but they still look the same. And they were always comfortable.

The rear facing seats allows for seats placed on the wheel wells... not a bad idea. Likely the safest seats on the bus.

The 1st vehicle you've shown is an autonomous vehicle, you can recognize it from all the black sensors on the four corners and the front and back of it. They have cameras, radars and lidars (Lazer emitting sensors that read the road around and help with visibility especially in the dark or foggy weather). Great video as always Russ!

Я не дока в автопроме и мало разбираюсь в авто,но на первый взгляд,дом на колесах Cemper"КамАЗ" показался мне слишком узким по ширине и чересчур компактным.Расчитан на маленьких ростом и худых людей🤣 И ещё мне не понравился слишком массивный ,раскладной стол,который разработчики это дома на колесах запихнули в узкий проем между сиденьями,и достаточно острые края стола. А также то,что при входе в автодом сразу же натыкаешься на него.В длительной поездке это травмоопасно.Надеюсь,что со временем "КамАЗ" может предложить что-то гораздо лучшее этого дома на колесах .

On many of the bus in London, UK there are usb charging points on some of the routes i have been on.
Very soon across London, Transport for London (TFL) will be implementing 4G and possibly 5G wifi on certain areas.

I believe in multiple choices I can't live in Russia I want to have more than one choice

I loved the video, Russell. The KAMAZ RV/camper was pretty cool, compact, but it had all you need for road trips, hopefully as the travel/tourism market expands in Russia, there will more offerings as far as RV's are concern, there is a lot see in such a big and beautiful country like the Russian Federation

I don't always comment but we do watch all of your videos. Thank you for another truck convention! We enjoy seeing all these different brands and what your buses are like. It seems to us that your buses are nicer than the ones we have in America. Of course in Florida we have very few buses sadly. We used to have coat checks here but that was decades ago.

Indeed many from the west will feel a bit jealous as for many many years western mainstream have brain washed their citizens that their countries were the best and Russia were far behind. Ну конечно. Где еще выставку грузовиков проводить? Конечно, в Москве. А другим городам что? У нас в Алапаевске ни одной выставки грузовиков не проводилось никогда. Все мазы да камазы грязные ездят, в которых ни одна приличная женщина не сядет. Причем, все без юэсби. А как хотелось бы посмотреть на новые газельки с юэсби. И чтоб девушки в облегающих платьях у каждой газельки. Да куда там. Ни одного небоскреба не построили. Писал уже в администрацию. Могли бы вместо машины с душем. Хотя бы этажей в 50.
