everyone just looking for that one game they played as a kid
ОтветитьMy own history with RTS was kinda simple when i first got introduced into this type of game it was long time ago in late 2000s but simple it was when my dad's friends in his work knowed somes games and well ones of the games were Age Of Mythology and som them were talking about games and him gave a copy of that game for my dad install the game in my PC not only i got introduced in RTS but in the AOE Franchise as well.
Currently... I'm looking to play unknown and underrated RTS games from 1990s and early-late 2000s as well.
I found my game lol, warlord 2. Somehow I just remembered the game and how awesome it is. Warcraft 3 is really ahead of it's time lol
ОтветитьAwesome list, Dark Colony is missing
ОтветитьFrom the 80s I’d also include “Rescue Raiders” and “Armor Alley” (they were essentially the same game). Those were the only side-scroller games that I think would qualify.
ОтветитьBattle Realms is still the most creative and the best strategic rts game of all
Ответитьthank you so much !😍
ОтветитьOh wow, thanks to this brilliant and outstanding video,in which the author(s) had scrupulously collected and combined a whole lot of good old strategy games,i've managed to FINALLY discover the game i remembered since decades ago but just wasn't able to recall it's name or find it in various game compilations on the Web..Phenomenal job!A big fat like in addition to lots of gamer sympathy, cheers!:)
ОтветитьHey community.. I need help looking for an old PC game. It's about 4 kind of units: trucks, tanks, planes and ships. And you have to get 3 resources: oil, population and coal. Thanks!!
Ответитьthere is a better video than this... called Top PC Real Time Strategy Games (PART 1) and the complete vids is more than 1 hour if u combine all the vids.
ОтветитьNether Earth -- это супер
ОтветитьGames from 2013 being 10 years old makes me want to kill timekeepers
Ответитьhaegemonia is missing
ОтветитьAnyone remembers the RTS game that had simular graphics like the browser game Ikariam ? Can't find it for yours :(
ОтветитьLol....that couldn't have been your best footage for StarCraft....yes....SCVs mining minerals is so interesting 😂
ОтветитьBattle realms ✋✋✋
ОтветитьGood old times. Settlers, Command and Conquer, Age of Emoires, Warcraft. The problem was, that never get better than Age of Empires II, Settlers IV and Red Alert 2. After that, they tried to reinvent or complicated the formular and nobody really want to play it.
Empire Earth was the perfect example. You can copy this, put in more of the same and be like a crossover from Age of Empires, Command and Conquer and Civilization and the game is really unplayable in multiplayers. Because it was 3D and so massive, it sold well. After any wonders that this series gone worse? The same goes for Earth 2160. Yeah, its a good game in single player, but it was too much and too complicated. There was a time, nobody care about your time and get into a game to play it with friends. In Earth you can build your own tanks, have to charge fuel for them... Good games are easy to learn and hard to master.
The last memorable game for me was Generals. Maybe some games since Starcraft II were as good as the old RTS games, but I m not into them anymore, because today it is all about online gaming, not bringing your PC to your friends, ordering Pizza and Coke and gaming through the night.
One less known RTS from 2003 is Against Rome, even though it wasn't on the same level as AoE, C&C, Stronghold, etc., I enjoyed the hell out if it when I was a kid, and it's still a pretty fun game even now.
ОтветитьStar Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, no Battlefront
ОтветитьАвтор реально дурачок.Все намешал:и стрелялка с видом сверху у него ртс и дюна 1.Кал видео в общем.
ОтветитьEarly days C&C had revolutionary music for an RTS
Ответитьlol Stronghold Warlords as the ultimate culmination of the genre
ОтветитьYou missed Dark Colony 1997. What a serious oversight imo. That game was the first to have day and day night cycles which affected gameplay.
ОтветитьWarcraft 3 reign of chaos/frozen throne, red alert 2/yuri's revenge, starcraft 1 and 2, and battle realms are my favorite RTS games
ОтветитьCossacks underrated asf
ОтветитьNothing quite like Empire Earth Online
ОтветитьRise of Nations is from 2003.
ОтветитьSeveral names are wrong i think
Ответитьtotal war games are usually 10 years ahead of their times
ОтветитьState of war as my all time fav!
ОтветитьFor me this video is only missing Rise of Nations (I know there are dozens more missing), such an amazing game, after playing Warcraft, 7K, C&C, AoE and AoM, that was the last rts game that I really got into. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
ОтветитьI wish you could find the original footage of all the games. I mean the ones redone kinda kills the progression...
ОтветитьRise of nations eu jogo até hoje
Ответитьhi
You didn't show many games that are strategy style. I'm looking for an old game, but I can't find it, I don't know what it's called, but to get money, you have to go inside the cave to get money. There are three groups in it, it's very nice, the style is cartoon and old, I don't know what it's called.
i first descover RTSG with age of empire and KKND i was so hook with the concept
ОтветитьI know you left out a lot of games, but I was surprised to not see either of the Battlezone installments from Activision.
ОтветитьI just bought Stronghold Warlords other day its good game
ОтветитьSeeing AOEIII followed by EAW and then BFME2 was just like....yep that was me in 2006
ОтветитьROME Total war до сих пор на ноуте есть,ак же и битва за средиземье
Ответитьsuch a shitty, uninteresting video. The topic is good, but you managed to ruin the possibilities. Shame on you, loser
Ответитьso you didn't even bother writing a script
ОтветитьI miss the series of Europa Universalis.
ОтветитьInteresting to see turn based games like Warlords in a list about RTS...
ОтветитьGood old dune 2. Stole some hours from me
ОтветитьKirov reporting
ОтветитьAge of Empires the mega game!
ОтветитьOnly hoi4 is good
