Sounds right upto midway, then pictures but NO SOUNDS, anyone else have this issue
ОтветитьRest in peace to the victims who died 76 years ago
ОтветитьThis is a drama about people who happened to be in a terrible accident. It is NOT about a train crash. Let's get that straight.
ОтветитьAll the accident that have resulted from a failure of communications, either signalling, verbally or visually has led to the sophisticated systems we have now.

I live in Dugald and it is sad to pass by this place every time I go for groceries
ОтветитьMy family owns a cabin on malachi lake where there’s a memorial island for those who perished on their way home from their last weekend at their family paradise
ОтветитьMy granddad was an executive at the Canadian National Railroad when this happened. He worked overseeing the manufacturing of railroad cars. The ones he built were newer models that didn’t require gas lighting.
The passenger cars in this video were death traps with gas stored underneath the cars. I’m glad we have newer technology and better regulations now.
It’s so sad how all of those poor people were just having fun on vacation hours before their lives were changed forever or ended with this horrific train wreck.
As soon as I heard “lit by gas lamps” I knew it was going to have a very bad outcome.
ОтветитьSad Tragic
ОтветитьSuch a terrible accident. I remember taking this train to and from the lake in the 60's and 70's. They finally opened up roads into the area and it wasn't anywhere near as much fun going to the lake anymore.
ОтветитьThis is a really poor production.. the survivors are talking and there is music playing at the same level
ОтветитьMy favorite Canadian produced disaster documentary series.
ОтветитьFalcon Lake isn't in Ontario.
ОтветитьThe damn music is so loud, it drowns out everything everyone is saying while it is playing. Not worth your time watching unless you have a filter that can filter out the background music.
ОтветитьReally enjoy your series. 👍👍👍
ОтветитьThis is a really good series to watch. Thank you! Really enjoying them.
ОтветитьThe music is so loud and distracting. I watched only 10 minutes
ОтветитьGreat stories! But please turn down the sound effects and background music. Thanks
ОтветитьI actually came to the comments to say I liked the music LMAO it kinda reminds me of the music when Harry Potter is going to Hogwarts. Different tastes!
ОтветитьWhile many derailments are caused by human error, the vast majority are caused by things like broken rails and rotten ties. This according to the Association of American Railroads and the Federal Railroad Administration.
ОтветитьEveryone complaining about the music - have you ever seen a reconstruction documentary? It's like this in every single one up to the mid-00s. Get over it!
ОтветитьThe loud music is awful
Can't hear the people talk!
Have to say, been in a train crash and need hospital? You can take another train to it if want ... as if anyone wanted that
ОтветитьOh for the of God people use blue tooth headphones😂
ОтветитьDid anyone survive in the forward cars?
ОтветитьThanks for uploading these, particularly the Canadian disasters. Some I've never heard of, which makes me feel awful. I'm hard of hearing, however, even crunching salt and vinegar chips, I can hear the interviewees and the narrator just fine. So very tired of all the whining about the music!
ОтветитьMy God that must have been a terrible ordeal to have survived. I do like the lady's attitude at the very end in of the vid. She left the disaster in the past where it belongs and thanked God that she survived.✌
ОтветитьWhy do these films have to be drenched in intrusive background music ffs?
Oh of course someone's trying to be arty.
God help us 🙄
Gaylord Lewis? That has to be spelt differently, poor guy
ОтветитьMusic is so loud I can't hear the people talking.
ОтветитьI drove by there a couple of weeks ago. So peaceful, bucolic, pleasant. The horror of this awful accident is hardly even hinted at by the single plaque there now.
ОтветитьWhy do they make documentaries with the background music louder than the voices so you can't hear anything people are saying
ОтветитьOmg, everyone whining about the music just STOP. These shows are from 30-odd years ago. Loud music was cool then. Bad Day HQ doesn't have the masters to change anything. It's FREE so either enjoy it or leave quietly instead of complaining louder than the music.
ОтветитьThis LOUD music almost sounds like the Superman sound track!!🤣😂🤣
ОтветитьI wonder if the accident was as loud as the music in this video?
ОтветитьCrickey - will someone please stop these sound editors from drowning out the witnesses with ridiculous smaltzy musack??
ОтветитьMy audio is fine. Ran it on 2.1 rather than trying to force it in to 5 or 7 channels and everything is mixed perfectly. Sounds very good on headphones as well. Before blaming the producer, check your own settings.
ОтветитьI can't even imagine what this was like to the people.....
ОтветитьThis is the perfect case of too much technology in a time where there was no technology .. all that locomotive technology yet there are gas lamps and every car!! .. Soo sad 😔😢😭
ОтветитьPlease either reduce the volume of the music or remove it entirely. You can barely hear what's being said and it adds nothing to the video
ОтветитьYup. Another wanker on this one going, "Thank you, you psychopathic murderer, god, for killing all them other people and not me. You are so wonderful." Morons like that are so irritating. Your imaginary psychopath had nothing to do with it and if you imagine it did, why the hell would you thank that thing? Are you really that self centred? Fuck all those people. You saved me!
ОтветитьI dont think anyone has mentioned the music, it was very loud, Ohhhhh wait my apologies (NOT) looks like it was mentioned 150 BLOODY TIMES out of the 172 comments. Here is an idea, why not reply or like the 1st comment mentioning the music (unless you have a different point or direction of course) because after I see 5 or more saying the same thing I stop reading the comments. If I see one comment with 50 replies and likes I guess there would be a 99% chance i would take a look at that but a 0% chance I would continue reading the main comments post thread.
ОтветитьHoly shit I’m 39 years old and I never heard of this before?
It’s amazing to see how things were so different back then, but even back then wasn’t that long ago either...
The people talking really interferes with the jingo music.
ОтветитьIt's hard to understand the voices, because the music is too loud.
ОтветитьWhy the hack people hate the loud music. And I’m in 2020
