How do you get the price estimate of how much it would cost to print on the Cura’s slicer?
Ответитьhorizontal scaling just save time but electricity bill is not saved
Ответитьhow would i make a spider web
Ответитьmicro center has this deal a lot, right now it's for a ender 3 v2 which i like a lot, but i suck at everything so i couldnt get it running right, so now i have it on the floor somewhere wasting space.
ОтветитьWheres a microcentre? Never seen one in my area
ОтветитьHow do I find someone in my area to come and teach me hands on 3D printing
Ответить"How long do you think it took to make this?" Yeah but it looks like shit...
"How about this?" Yeah, but it looks like shit...
"How - " Yeah, but...
great video and good tips; just found your video, just got my first direct drive extruder printer (anycubic kobra neo), i get good prints but want to get the best possible quality; can you share tips on this type of printer calibration tests and settings?. thanks for your time
Ответитьbro, my man you should clean your 3d printer. Im dying watching this
Ответить"Print faster by buying more printers". Well, that was helpful. SMH
ОтветитьRealize I've already been here and disliked this before
ОтветитьI have the neptune 3 max. I wanna make figures. I printed 3 pieces about 4 inches big and took 15 hiurs. Can u help me pkease with settings. They are figures . That u make in pieces. Is there a way to print faster?
Ответитьi like the way you think
Ответить>just decrease the quality/structural integrity and you'll print faster
wow who could have guessed
I dont have lighning infill
ОтветитьWhat an ass! Why stop at 5 printers, why not buy 1000 of them!
ОтветитьCould you please give some advice How to slice the model for few separate part for printing them on the different printers at the same time?
ОтветитьSHOKING HOLD UP You're using 12mm layer, on a 0,4mm nozzle, with 20 infill and probably huge walls and infill. I would change the nozzle for a 0.8mm, reduce walls, reduce infill, if I want more speed I would increase the print speed and the nozzle heat so the filament goes smooth into the nozzle but beware the quality of the filament (the condition), the extruder (it's plastic, it's metal, be careful). HUGE PRINTS don't need high quality, we always do post processing, sanding, primer, putty, painting. I would not sell a huge print without post processing. Take the Iron-man Helmet, it can be done in 1-2 days with the correct settings but bad leveling, bad heat, you will fail and learn, it's a fantastic process of learning.
ОтветитьHow do you spell your name?
ОтветитьI don't think increasing the print speed that much is worth it. The quality suffers disproportionately compared to the little bit of time it saves. The upside of this is that sometimes you can decrease the speed for e.g. less noise and the print time won't explode. What's much more significant is the layer height, but even better the nozzle diameter because that will not only allow thicker layers but also speed up the print even without changing the layer height.
Also it can pay off to try different settings if you need supports. For example my slicer by default generates supports for any angle below 55 degrees, when in reality I can reduce this to ~12-20 without loss in quality, which reduces the used support material by far over 50%. As a bonus you'll have less surface imperfections.
How did you join that giant print? I’d like to know more about how to do that
Ответить"For new customers only" is so disrespectful to current customers.
Ответитьhow to get the nozzle I see on your video?
ОтветитьI purchased the 2v Neo last week. I followed all setup videos and pla not sticking to flex plate.
ОтветитьYeah micro centre is cool but I live on another continent...
ОтветитьThere is an option on Cura which reduces my prints from 8 hours to just 3 hours and is called “Adaptive Layers”.
I turn the option on and in most cases it dramatically reduces print time.
Just over 1 day is > 1.5 days apparently. With this math, my prints will be faster than ever,
ОтветитьDont forget temperature will need to go up with speed. Upgrade your hotend and preheat your glass bed .
ОтветитьI don't appreciate people making videos just for a plug at the end of it. I'm on here to find information not advertisements.
ОтветитьThese microcenter things drive me nuts... 99$ for an ender... Where I live Enders are over 300$ and we don't have anything like microcenters...
ОтветитьTLDR:
Increase the layer height
Increase print speed
Bigger nozzle
Lightning infills
how did you make the cura to show you the price when you slice a model
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you.
ОтветитьMouthy Buddha is that you?! lol, swear...
Ответитьi live in au so i cant go tonthat store
ОтветитьThanks for the tips! MyCreality slicer doesn't seem to have lightning infil. Any idea how to add it?
ОтветитьONE DAY?! THAT WOULD USUALLY TAKE AT LEAST A DAY PER PIECE!
ОтветитьHey 3DPA, how did you add the estimated $ cost on your prints? Do you find it accurate?
ОтветитьWould you consider doing a vid on the ideal settings? I went into "Speed" for instance when you told us to print faster (I've never gone over 70) and saw your wall-speed etc was 60, Cura's default is 35. I'd like to know all your settings and I'm sure all your viewers would too. Thanks
Ответитьmy cura dosnt have the lightning infill what else could i use or where can i get ultimaker
Ответитьif only this place was in britan
Ответитьwhat if i live in another country
Ответить"stock ender 3" but upgrades are clearly visible 🤣
ОтветитьHey buddy which 3d printer is best?
ОтветитьInfill doesn't really affect strength that much, if you want more strength add more walls.
ОтветитьThe whole "just get more printers" feels very "I bought a new house before I was thirty by living with my rich family and not paying rent". Some good tips in this vid but ultimately very misguided for newbies and intermediate users alike.
Ответить"lightning infill... which looks like tree branches"
or... you know.... lightning... as the name suggests.. -_-
