Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot - Vegeta Final Atonement Scene (DBZ Kakarot 2020) Vegeta's Sacrifice

The size of these characters in the anime and here. Are too different during gameplay. & through CGI VIDEO, vegeta is so bulky during this arc. This game did not give them justice, too skinny.

I'm not sure why people think this would've been a good place to end the Buu saga. So Vegeta kills Majin Buu due to his sacrifice. Goku is knocked out. Supreme Kai is on the verge of dying and Gohan is also knocked out.

What would killing Buu here do for the story at large? Goku wakes up. Supreme Kai finds Gohan and they both get treatment. Then what? They continue the tournament? Goku lives out the remaining day? They use the Dragon Balls to revive everyone evil who died?

There is no way that the Buu saga could simply end here. The villian was just set free and needs to showcase how insanely overpowerered his healing generation is. Vegeta's sacrificed himself to showcase the bar of strength. His sacrifice is showing the audience that Goku, who was at equal power, is not going to be winning this fight either. And Vegeta only killed himself because he was already one foot in the ground. It was always going to continue. That they need another ace up their sleeve and Goku thinks it should be fusion, and Supreme Kai thinks it's Gohan.

Toriyama just wanted Vegeta to be a measuring stick. And if the arc ended the way it was supposed to, Gohan would've killed Super Buu and Vegeta would have never come back.

One thing i love about this scene is that- even tho vegeta's sacrifice didnt even work, the scene was so incredibly set up and played out... It's just so memorable indepedently of the final outcome

Before this episode, I loathed Vegeta. But after this, I got a new respect towards him. He is the GOAT!

Vegeta's Sacrifice reminds me of Goku's Sacrifice From The Cell Saga

They took away a lot of the blood

Not as accurate as the show they rush a lot of the cutscenes and the dialogue isn’t accurate

Tbh, Vegeta should've stayed dead after this. Kinda undermine his sacrifice when Buu survived that.

This scene makes ot seem like his sacrifice was painful and took alot, the way its animated of him charging it up is better then the original in my opinion just for animation wise, everything else the original wins
