thanks for the video. I thought I need 24mm for all around but your video change my mind. I need 35mm for my photography type
ОтветитьI have it and I myst admit it is a real jem ; fast great bokeh wide open and realy sharp, but I want back on my nikon af 24. f2,8 wich is as sharp, that’s but I prefer the 24mm framing and the scenery it offers without distorsion and light fall off in the corners plus it is the lighter lens in the nikon af lineup.
ОтветитьDid you compare this lens with Tamron 35mm 1.4? I've head it's much better and right now the price is almost the same.
ОтветитьI own both the SIGMA and the TAMRON 35mm 1.4 SP.. Gotta say that the Tamron wins hands down, it's sharper wide open, although they are both SHARP to begin with, plus it has image stabilizer which you can comfortably shoot with at least 1/15th sec. which is almost impossible with the SIGMA. I even own the Tamron 1.8 version which I greatly prefer over the SIGMA
ОтветитьSeriously the prices of lenses are absolutely ridiculously too expensive. I don't care what anyone says. These lens prices keep photography very elitist. Even second hand they are expensive.
ОтветитьAwesome video
Ответитьwhy dont you take a rubber gusget and just use a bit of glue to hold it , and there you go , weather sealed .
ОтветитьI've got a 28-70 f2. But considering getting this for my R6 mark ii 🤔
ОтветитьYou've convinced me; I'm buying it.
ОтветитьI love prime lenses, they are more clearer, especially for portraits. 35 MM with an IS and a aperture of anywehre from 2.0 - 1.2 - you are sorted.
ОтветитьAwesome, Josh! Just ordered as a result. You're the man!
ОтветитьNo one with any experience will use a 35mm lens for portraiture. 85mm - 135mm is the accepted norm. Everyone is a photographer these days.
ОтветитьJust picked up a 6D, This lens, SD card, Two chargers & a flash for $600…. Yup. just hit the luckiest deal of my life
ОтветитьThanks, that was very helpful.
Ответитьyep, this is a complete review. Thanx and greetings from Romania!
ОтветитьIf you switch from f1.4 to f2.8 you either adjust shutter speed by 2 stops or increase ISO to keep the SAME exposure.
ОтветитьMounted on my canon r6 mii with in-body stabilization, this lens really performs at indoor family occasions. great for car photography and video too.
ОтветитьShould be said that the Sigma DG DN Art series (designed for mirrorless) are weather sealed, it was the older versions that weren’t.
ОтветитьGreat review. Exactly the kind of review I was hoping for.
ОтветитьGreat review. thank you
ОтветитьGreat review! do you think I could use this lens with the Canon RP mirrorless?
Ответитьi have a canon 90d and i don't care about weather seal i like this camera lens and plus sigma is cheaper if this sigma art lens is for the ef mount then i can put this on my crop sensor and call it a day. it's a great lens and i know i can get this right and i love shooting in low light so i'm buying it thanks josh
Ответитьwell i will buy this for the cheap price i'm not spending that kinda money on those expensive lens like canon even though i have a canon camera but i will check out some more sigma lenses
Ответитьwhy i can't put this on my 80d
ОтветитьMy only disliked, too heavy. Otherwise no complaints.
ОтветитьI have Sigma 18-35mm do you think I still need this lens?
ОтветитьYou don't have to obliterate anything with an 85mm lens. You get a nice field of view and compression though. 28-35 is pretty hard to live without for video though.
ОтветитьI have this Sigma 35mm F/1.4 (A) DG HSM and match it with EOSR (+Control Ring). I am totally more than satisfied with the lens. Love it!
ОтветитьI’m using a Sony zv e10 , would this lens be good for videos ?
ОтветитьDid you have to calibrate the lens using the sigma USB Dock?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your experience!🙏This video really helps me to understand the characteristics of Sigma Art 35mm/1.4.
Actually, I was trying to find upper level lens over Nikkor 50mm/1.8G FX on my F6 film camera :) and I think I need to get this one in the near future.
Hello Bro, what would you advise me to buy for video? Sigma 35mm f/1.4 ART or Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 ?
ОтветитьThis IS for an aps-c camera .. actually, this lens works much better on a crop sensor DSLR. Full frame cameras tend to cast a bit of ghosting in the corners whereas with a crop sensor camera, it's tack sharp however, yes, this lens is superior Lens and like Samsung is to apple, sigma is the same to Canon. As far as having a weather seal, who cares... camera manufacturers have never liked people shooting in the rain in the first thing!!
ОтветитьNice video. Ill put this on my to buy list💪💪
ОтветитьWhat size filters fit on a 35 sigma lens?
ОтветитьDamn I miss this lens 😭 seriously one of the best I’ve ever used
ОтветитьFantastic review !
ОтветитьHello, what would you advise me to buy? Sigma 35mm f / 1.4 ART or Sigma 18-35mm f / 1.8 ART
ОтветитьWhat camera body would this lens work with then? WITHOUT HAVING TO PUT AN ADAPTER ON THE BODY!?
ОтветитьI use Sigma lenses with pleasure. My problem is the focus motor sound. Some Sigma's are so loud, it is almost impossible to use it for video.
ОтветитьAlready have this sigma art 35mm and yeah very good lens...now i have the tamron sp 35mm 1.4 and oh oh new king ! 👑📸🥇👌🏼
ОтветитьWow, you just be very advanced in your age with so much experience 😂
ОтветитьAlso good as a walk-around on an ASP-C.
ОтветитьThanks Josh, great and highly needed video! ⭐️👌
ОтветитьI own new my EOS R, today i thinking to buy 35mm lens. to compare Sigma 35mm f/1.4 ART and EOS RF 35mm f/1,8 IS STM, which on you prefer?
Ответитьis this better than the new tamron 35mm 1.4?
ОтветитьGreat content !!
ОтветитьHey the newer 35mm has the canon cap as opposed to the older ones with the sigma cap right?
ОтветитьI have the same set up. But how do you get the lens to stop hunting so much in video mode? I leave servo on, not sure if that is the problem.
Ответить
