The only thing keeping them afloat is the strength of brand name. For any rational buyer who doesn't care about badges, Genesis is slam dunk against the German "luxury" brands.
RIP Model Y?? Uh, no. Not for an extra $14K. And the new Model Y Juniper will pretty much destroy everything in it's class next year and for way less money.

ОтветитьI couldn't stand that whining/whirring in place of an internal-combustion engine exhaust sound. I am eyeballing the GV70 gas to replace my BMW 535i xDrive...it looks so nice and has great features for the price. Hyundai has really done a nice job in general.

ОтветитьHave a G70. Had this as a loaner. Smoothest ride ever. My only nitpicks are the screen should’ve been closer. Replace the gear wheel with the infotainment mouse and replace the gear wheel with the drive mode wheel. The drive mode feature should be in your face like the G70s are. Not a random clicker you barely notice.
ОтветитьI noticed a lot of body roll when you were demonstrating the understeer…maybe the Macan is a better choice. The GV70 electric is too expensive to not have a better driving dynamic. Just my humble opinion.

300 miles range needs to be a MINIMUM. Especially for premium brands. Other brands have been doing it for years, there is no excuse

ОтветитьI have been told by the Genesis Dealer that this car is not available in Florida because they have no service center setup yet. I would have to go to Georgia for service. Has that changed in the least 6 months? I drive a Tesla S but my wife is interested in the G70 Electric. Can you speak to the states which are sellling the Electric G70?
ОтветитьHey idk if u guys know, probabaly do, but tha genesis cars with the little rotary dial has a touch pad on top, that little plastic/glass section on the top allows it to write letters and swipe up down, left right instead of turning the dial to manipulate the screen

ОтветитьRemember DC fast charging is supposed to be road trips, that's why it's the price it is. The vast majority of people charge level 2 at home for really really cheap. Think about how much more gas stations are along the highway. Also I don't know about in Canada but in the US you get 3 years free charging with Genesis

ОтветитьWonderful car and review. I do think they have more to learn about how electric charging works. Peak charging output only happens at low battery percentages and is greatly reduced as time passes and the percentage increases. This is done for the health of the battery. Your phone does this and you likely notice it, you just don’t track the charging rate. It will always charge from 0-10% much faster than 72-82%

ОтветитьI've never heard about lumbar pressure on a spine in this vehicle... Test drove it and absolutely lux and can turn down the lumbar if you wish. Yuri, you're seriously imagining things...snap out of it.

ОтветитьI've always been on team Germany for higher-end performance vehicles but test drove the Genesis GV70 (base) and was blown away at how impressive the ride and handling were...definitely seeing Genesis in my future. Awesome vid as usual gentlemen
ОтветитьLove how they’re literally making excuses for the slow processor and stating slowly “it’s not the infotainment system it’s apple carplay”. How is it apple CarPlay?? It’s not even a wireless connection it was wired. It was definitely the infotainment system. Every time they review a Hyundai Motors group product it feels like a advertisement.

If only the range was above the 300 miles. Great looking car no doubt but if you take this for a road trip, you’d be stopping a lot just to recharge
