ОтветитьGotta be careful messing with a man’s guitar tone!
ОтветитьTrying to follow along in Pro Tools and applying some of your EQ's... oh man.. lol it sounds so good. Thank you!
ОтветитьAwesome guys, all of you! Thank you, I feel more confident that I'm doing the right thing now and gained some knowledge in the process
ОтветитьThis might seem like a stupid question . But are guys using double tracked guitar and is it the same take stacked on top of each other with different tones
ОтветитьThis is a good video!
Bout to record and mix my new bands first album so watching this couldn't come at a better time
This is awesome, Thank Fellas. I realize now i want to Use a synth bass. It does make it nice and fuzzy in tone.
Ответитьamazing.. thanks
ОтветитьI am seeing in your videos that there is always a sample sound accompanying the natural live instrument sound in the mix... for example, real snare and sample snare or a sample kick and the real kick and hey are blended. I think I have seen a guitar in this video too... when you say ''it doesn't sound natural because it is not natural.'' Is there a sampled guitar duplication of the live guitar performance too? How to create that? Or how to create to live and sample sounds and blend them, please? I am confused. I am only using bass guitar simulator drum simulator plugins at the moment and I play the guitar myself and the vocals ...so the guitars and the vocals are the only natural ones. Is it a must to have both the live and sampled sounds? :) Thank you!
ОтветитьVery valuable and perfectly explained information!!! :)
ОтветитьI like the analog tone much more I'm a new hybrid guy too and new altogether lol. But I love analog much more
ОтветитьWhen do you compress heavy distorted guitars? They're already pretty compressed from the distortion.
ОтветитьI know this was a while ago. That amp hum, you can really hear in the Ulrich section. That would drive me crazy. Thank God for RX now-a-days
ОтветитьWhat if we have simple 3 instrument rig? 1 guitar, 1 bass, 1 drums set? How to deal with all the guitar panning ?
ОтветитьThe Bob Marlette rock mixing videos are really good. One of my fav courses I’ve purchased.
ОтветитьThis video raised the question of how much does the artist allow the producer to change (or character) the recording to their own tastes(?). Adding fuzzes and octaves etc, even subtly, is quite a step..
ОтветитьMuddy blahvellous! As usual you answer the questions before I even asked them. You rock sir!
ОтветитьAs always "marvelous'!
Ответитьthx a lot, nice video!
ОтветитьGold nuggets here.
ОтветитьWait, someone actually bought those gibson monitors?
ОтветитьAmazing tips. Thanks Warren to you and your guests!
ОтветитьTop video cheers guys!
ОтветитьShould have watched this before i mixed Chelsea lol
ОтветитьLiterally every comment is asking this guy a question when he clearly isn't responding. Ppl are weird
ОтветитьWhat widener plugin would you recommend for messy, glitchy, bitcrushed, gated fuzzed bass guitar/guitar (for frequencies above 200hz)? Also have you tried the MdoubleTracker plugin?
ОтветитьGreat tricks here :) Thanks for sharing all this knowledge Warren! Looking forward to try them on my (home) productions. Keep on pls!
ОтветитьAwesome just awesome
ОтветитьCan massive guitars be achieved by fake amps? I'll check your other videos.
ОтветитьGreat tips & tricks, but not very helpful without the context of the song. 3 Different takes, 3 different people, and not a single person played even a blip of the guitars in the mix.
Ответитьhow do i get the reverb and guitar sounding at the same time with hard right and left??
ОтветитьIs there some king of trick to recording distorted guitars coming out of an amp. I can't seem to get clarity in the chords.
Ответить3 different approaches. But similar in that: No one guitar track does the job all on its own.
ОтветитьI was surprised to see Warren EQ the first two set of guitars identically. Normally I would make them swap spaces in the frequency spectrum. That is, the frequencies I boost in one I cut in the other.
I suppose he does that because he's got many more guitars in the song to get busy with frequency wise.
Hi Warren. What is that on the headstock of your bass guitar?
Ответитьgoing through you're videos is like plugin into the matrix and downloading through the back of the head
ОтветитьIs Bob's tracks coming from "a place to call home" from Big Wreck?
ОтветитьEddie Van Halen has a MASSIVE guitar sound and that was just one amp with a reverb panned to opposite side >>>> players skill, instrumentation and arrangement is paramount with additional production techniques for wider, more lush, orchestrated guitar songs 💥❤️💥 x
Ответить2 Grand for the Mixing possibilities ?
Ответить16 Bucks for a mug?
ОтветитьDuh-nih-nah, duh-nih-nah, duh-nih-nah, nih-neh-nah.
ОтветитьGreat video! The synth bass mix along with other guitar parts should be equalized like a regular bass with the bottom end or like a guitar? Thanks!
ОтветитьWarren, I hope you are doing marvellously well!
ОтветитьLike always, excellent content!!!
ОтветитьThis is by far the best mixing video I have ever seen ! Thanks guys !
