ОтветитьThank you for playing scorching wind at the beginning of the video
ОтветитьОбалденно😊
ОтветитьReally love the visuals in this! :) great work!
ОтветитьThis is in my top 3 favorite games, thankyou for making such a great documentary. I thoroughly enjoyed this!
ОтветитьThe hivers were probably a genetically engineered variant of humans as a response of the famine of the second empire. Proof of this is the mechanical appendage of the queen suggesting they are not of purely natural origin. Their low hunger and high farming tendencies support this. Their creator is most likely the bugmaster that is surrounded by spiders whose skin looks suspiciously close to the hivers skin. We know the bugmaster was associated with the second empire and is most likely their genetic engineer since he is immortal although human. As for the Shek they did not grow horns after their creation, that is just holy boys historical revisionism. Since the sceletons of the black desert recognise them as enforcers right away it is far more likely they were created to look as they do from the start.
We also know that the sceletons resetting their minds is a myth brought into the world by the sceletons themselves to relieve themselves of the shame and blame that might come against them by other races. This is revealed if a sceletons talks to the second of command of the tech hunters in worlds end. Sceletons may be able to reset themselves. But they do most likely do not HAVE to do it as they pretend
It seems WE hivers are the Second Project of tinfist, after his enforcer went rebellious.
P.s. shame on you, no Word about the greatest warrior of all! beep
are the skeletons modern day israel
ОтветитьI’m a simple man. I see kenshi video, I click.
ОтветитьCould it be that the fishmen were the enemy's that fought against the humans and skeletons.
They are intelligent but lack technologies that could have been destroyed during the war. Also Kenshi had more water back then. Maybe the humans drained it to reduce the number of said Fishmen.
The Skeletons know nothing about Hivers back then but about the Fishmen they say nothing could mean they knew they existed back then.
I love this game
ОтветитьMy first introduction to Kenshi was Ambiguousamphibians Torsolo series, I did not expect it to be this in depth
ОтветитьI've not thought much about Kenshi 2, but this wonderful video made me actually feel excited for a game's release for the first time in at least two years. Weird. I may be three months late, but thank you for making this!
ОтветитьMy headcanon is that in kenshi 2 cat-lon knew about the future desertification due to the broken terraforming eye, and tried to invent technologies to disable it. this will create a difficult choice between the "good" factions and the second empire. Currently, it is the UC and the tech hunters who are the only chance to save the world. And the western hivers is growing too fast, which will create a huge number of fogmans in the future when the queen breaks, which she definitely will. By the way, nothing prevents us from digging up the earth in several places so that water from the ocean fills the empty river beds. if people could build cities with huge walls, then they can do that too. However, this will definitely not happen if you destroy UC in the name of goodness and justice, because the difference even between peasants and UC civilians are too large, you can notice that in their speeches
ОтветитьWhat if kenshi is just WH 23K?
ОтветитьI'll be sure to keep this video around for the next time a year or more passes since I last played Kenshi, 20 minutes of Lore refreshment is just perfect for starting again.
ОтветитьJesus.. it's absolute chaos.
ОтветитьHoly shit this is a video I didn’t know I needed
ОтветитьBeep is also a skeleton.
ОтветитьThorough, and much appreciated.
Is there somewhere this can be read? It's sooo thorough, I would love to commit it to memory.
I guess I can find something that translates speech to text if not.
this brought me to tears. kenshi the all time underated game ever
ОтветитьHey, just dropping a comment to support Kenshi content. great video thank you for your time making it.
Ответитьthis is without a doubt the best intro to the start of the game, you lay the whole map out in a storyline then it ends with 'you are the main character go do whatever'
if i didnt play it already this would make me try it
really good video bro
ОтветитьWhy there is no firearm or lazer gun or sometng.... only ranged is crossy and harpoons
ОтветитьWhat I like about kenshi I could roleplay as anything I want for example I always roleplay as a cannibal samurai or a deformed holy knight.
ОтветитьKenshi and Highfleet take place in the same universe. Lost colonies on different worlds.
ОтветитьKenshi lore always blows my mind. You really have to dig for any info on how things got that way. I'd definitely read a novel about the history leading up. It's almost like a whole epic tale based on the moon of a planet you heard about in passing in one of the Dune books. Unique vibes for sure.
Ответитьreading the sources, I find it interesting how the writer shows bias in the source very clearly, the only account we have of hivers is from a holy nation scribe, and he describes how all of them coming from the same evil, the dismisal of all non-human, but at the same time jumping to conclusions really shows that in general holy nation scribes are not trustworthy and should be examined with bias in mind, which this video clearly has in mind
Ответить1000+ hours on kenshi, always looked for any lore i can get my hands on in-game but after watching this i realized how incomplete it was
now i got motivation to explore and experience the truth first-hand instead of just aimlessly crushing cities i don't agree with
No way Tengu got greenlander-washed 💀
Great video.
I suspected that Kenshi has some good lore but never expected something that deep. This is exquisite! Now I love the game even more. Thx for effort put to piece that together and making this video!
ОтветитьSo that's why motumbo made a hive sleeper cell in blister hill...
ОтветитьPerfect video. Lore explained superwell and the final message is on point.
ОтветитьIiiiiiinnnnnteresting. *throws a Mewtwo in there, just to see how long it takes him or her to obliterate the continent*
ОтветитьI caught that Wilburger reference!
I hope to give this game a shot one day. I've been curious about it for a while.
I like to think that the queen of the Hivers is a mixed species between robot and some animal. It looks similar to the robot in the middle in the loading screen and also screams like the scream robots. In addition, if the queen falls the entire population becomes Fogmen or if they leave at one point they begin to have their own autonomy. Something similar to what happened to the robots in the first empire. Well, it's a theory.
ОтветитьI like to think the first empire continues to exist out in space, trying to return to it's former glory
ОтветитьI always have my own headcanon that Kenshi and StarSector exist in the same universe. The human is very likely a colonist. The hatred of Technology and the cult that became the Holy nation also similar to Luddic path and in that game they have know to build the sleeper cell in the unprotected colony. I feel like this is one of the uncivilized word that got left out because it’s not worth it anymore. A broken planet with broken AI core and little resources left is unprofitable for anyone in StarSector.
Ответить*if I'm not wrong, the First Empire settled on Kenshi. Meaning, the moon was colonized by some interplanetary civ (maybe intergalactic). Then, at some point, it was cut off from the rest of the Empire (which is pressumably like 99% of the First Empire). For all we know, the moon of Kenshi could be (probably is) a forgotten footnote of some huge, highly advanced civilization.
ОтветитьIn my headcanon, Kenshi is somewhere in the Dune universe. Either a pre-Butlerian Jihad world, or a forsaken one part of The Scattering. It fits so well, specially since, as the players, we have access to genetic memory and prescience (both from played chars and lore videos).
It could also fit well in a far future of the Fallout universe. But, of course, it can stand on its own as well. Such a well crafted world, with so many possibilities.
fucking love me some kenshi
ОтветитьWhat the hell kind of a town name is 'clownsteady' anyway
ОтветитьThey could make a multi tv series show about KENSHI and go over each faction each season
ОтветитьI love how a lot of this is him saying "and they did so for the next 1,000 years", like huge portions of kenshi's lore are just people doing the same thing for a thousand years before deciding to change a little bit
ОтветитьThis has to be the best documentary summary of Kenshi lore I've seen so far, great job!.
I was expecting mentions of The Hub's history and Deadcat's conquest by the cannibals too, but it's very good anyway. I really liked your custom designs of characters and places.
I think that the "memory reset" that the skeletons perform is actually a lie to hide their implications during the first extinction, under the pretext of not remembering anything. The reason behind this is uncertain to me, maybe out of remorse or shame, fear of further discrimination, or something else.
I also think that the natural disasters which, combined with the rebellion of the skeletons, led to the first extinction, were not caused by the skeletons themselves but were a consequence of their actions. I follow the theory that the inhabitants of the first empire were humans from a highly advanced intergalactic empire that terraformed this moon and settled there, creating an artificial atmosphere and a climate control system to support life. However, when the rebellion of the skeletons happened, either these control systems were destroyed or there was no one left to regulate them, leading to violent climatic changes that brought all kinds of natural disasters, contributing to the near extinction of humanity in this world and gradually transforming the once fertile moon into what it is today.
Positive comment 😊
