Micheal Barnett is a POS full of BS the entire documentary he played victim and was off his rocker. It was so hard to hear him speak because the bs was too cringe. I hope he gets what’s coming for him.

I think at the end of the last episode... Without giving away anything.. I think it's a cash grab and they are purposely making the allegations in the phone call .. to further the series ... We'll see.

Where to watch it for free?

unless you want to feel like you’re going insane, i do not recommend this documentary. natalia wasn’t interviewed at all (they simply used past interviews) and it’s basically just the dad giving “his side” while other people occasionally jump in and mention their experience with her. they never explicitly say it, but nearly everyone in it heavily implied that they believe she’s an adult, even years later. everyone was so convinced that it almost made me feel crazy for not believing the parents.

I'm on 4th episode and man... They're all crazy.

He's also a TERRIBLE actor!

I can’t believe that the charges against the adoptive mother were dropped. She is insane and abusive and it’s I beat up a kid mine or not, I know I would have legal problems. This girl Natalia, I don’t know what she is about, but from the actions of the parents, how could she be all there? The father plays the victim and wants sympathy for his role, he was a coward and a cry baby. He liked to brag , he had a 5000 fr house? I don’t consider that a mention esp when it’s a cheaply made development house. I felt bad for Natalia being against the wall and seeing her spine so crooked, I have back problems and she has to be in a great deal of pain. They seem to have an agenda for adopting her and using her to further their status or finances. The mother is a horrible person, just evil with no redeeming qualities, the father is a pansy. He went along with butch wife until he had legal problems and then went from we can do everything together to she the abuser. I doubt the dad beat the kid but mom did. The question is why do they think she was older? Children can have pubic hair at 6 years old and have “breast buds”. I had the buds as they call them in Third grade and went to my teacher because I was 8 and felt them , and thought I had cancer. Whit her body being as it is, why wouldn’t you expect hair? Why is the mom in the bathroom with her at 6? She’s old enough to shower alone unless she asks for help. Mom is full of herself and is a money hungry woman, she is not pretty, just fake and chubby and going on line to a little guy telling him how hot she is is laughable.. hot, she will be burning in hell

Its Amazing to see the outpouring support and ignorance just because of her disability. The poor adoptive family ..what a real life nightmare. For ALL the people who feels sorry for Natalia... she's still alive ..bring her into your life.
So over and over again bc of her disability she gets sympathize.

I’m watching the repeat of this show. Michael’s acting is ridiculously bad. I don’t believe anything he says. I do believe Kristine is the manipulator and he didn’t have cahones to be a real man and stand up to her.

The family treated her so harsh, so natalia might use some abusive words. This family is a crap. A major case should be put to the family for abusing natalia.

The real question is:
He really believes he's a good actor, doesn't he?

The Barnetts are horrible people. They made Natalia out to be this demonic thing it's disgusting. Even if she behaved badly or in a sexual manner towards guys or boys it didn't occur to anyone that maybe she behaved like that because she was abused before they ever met her sexually or physically or verbally or emotionally. She was in homes then returned like she was a pair of shoes that didn't fit no one was treating her like a human being that needed help. That Michael guy is a serious wackjob he is just beyond weird first he accuses Natalia of all this stuff then when they are accused of neglect he backtracks and puts everything that happened on his wife Kristene. He puts everything on her and even if Kristine was the so called mastermind and was the abusive one he was in the house he went along with everything going on so I don't feel bad for that nutcase at all. If they didn't want to keep her they could have put her in assisted living at least then she would have been taken care of. I just think what they did was so wrong they treated her in a really gross manner I just hope she is in a better place in her life now mentally, emotionally and that she is hopefully happy.

I don't know who to believe

I have to wonder if this child was able bodied, and American ,would this type of abuse have been taken seriously. What they did to this child is so egregious and yet here he sits, play acting (badly) and then walks out of court Scott free. It's disgusting.

The adoptive parents are very sick and disturbing. The father deserves an Oscar for the way he's acting😆

I fell bad for Jake. He is a genius and could have changed the whole world with his intelligence, but it was all wasted because his parents.

Poor little girl. I only watched first episode and got sick in my stomach watching all the lies these people tell. This small dwarf girl was a danger to full grown adults, trying to poison them, kill them, beat them? Really? I bet she was heavily abused, and you can tell the mother abused her emotionally and phisically. Awful people😮😡

The Feds need to pick this case up. This is misjustice! I'm in shock. I’m not a fan of cops, but hats off to that detective. He's one of the good ones, and I also feel for him. He tried. And something tells me he will continue to fight. At least that's what I want to believe 🥲

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer, but I regret watching it. Only one time before I felt physically ill after a film and that was 'Midsommar'. This story is incredibly heavy and REALLY exposing. There is a ton of hate and lies about Natalia told by both Michael, his son and neighbours. So many adults who slander a person who was a child at the time. And on top of that there are many stories of the abuse Natalia went through as well as demeaning information shared about her. Even though this show clearly criticises the abusers, it's so exposing I feel like it can violate her further. I feel guilty having watched it and I'm sorry for it

Just finished watching the show and i regret it. I feel physically ill. The amount of abuse Natalia has suffered is astronomical. She was a child💔 and I cant help but feeling that this show (despite showing the true colors of her abusive "parents") exposes her further. They could have cut so much of the slander and lies told about her by both Michael, Jacob and neighbours. But they left it in, why? Has she not been rediculed enough? I hope she gets justice and lives a happy life❤ she truly deserves it
