#1, always try to know where every car around you is, at all times.
I had that happen to me today. I knew the lane was empty, so I knew I could swerve, if not, I would have swerved into him to try and minimize a rollover scenario.

#29, thats the Commercial truck drivers fault. The black truck was tapping their brakes and he failed to react and maintain distance. Simple as that. I counted two times when the black pickup hits its brakes. The Commercial Driver was being lazy and didn't want to downshift.

I'm a firm advocate of removing Blind Spot Detection from all vehicles. The reliance on these assistance aids for drivers almost negates the necessity of needing a firm grasp of truly knowing how to handle an automobile.
